Concept car with colored plastidip

Hi guys!

I was at the track the other day and a company named Edgeautosport.ca was there with a new Jeep and an R* that were all painted with colored plastidip. The results were impressing!
I will meet with them tomorrow and discuss about the possibility of painting my whole car. Since plastidip is more than often matte colors, I kind lean towards leaving the roof and other accent in tuxedo black (like I did with my 2010 when I wrapped it in blue).

Since plastidip is 1/3 of the cost of wrapping and it also can be removed without damaging the paint under, I figured it could be interesting to dare. Also, in order to minimize financial risks, I will see the possibility of being sponsored again.

I like the orange or lime green with black accents. Or I could go more conservative with a matte silver (with is actually grey) with orange accent.

What do you guys think? Any suggestions on a color theme? (including rims, calipers and decals)...

Thanks!

I know they are doing some pretty amazing stuff with plastidip now. As for color schemes I am not very imaginative like that.

I have seen quite a few cars during my day here that were dipped, they look really cool. No suggestions for you though.

I went to see Edgeautosports in person and these guys are amazing. It is actually a subsidary company of Edge International and they have among other places a shop in California.
So, we discussed the possibility of a sponsorship and they are interested. That agreed, we discussed about colors and plastidip has evoluated a lot and they can do much more than the matte black in can.
So far, we have agreed that we should keep the roof in black and most of the hood in black. The rest of the car would be the new brushed aluminum plastidip smooth finish. My wheels would be painted with real paint metallic black.
Finally, still to be confirmed, but we would give it some punch with callipers, twin turbo decals and another decal of Edgeautosports.ca vertical in the rear window in... Purple.
I think it would look amazing and unique.
I am very excited with this project and these guys seem very sharp and commited.
The best is that next summer, they are willing to redo all the car with a different concept and they love that I drag race for publicity.
More to come... ;)

UPDATE:
So tomorrow, the aesthetic mods start! It should be done in three steps with one week between each step:
1) Tuxedo black painted OEM 20'' wheels
2) Metallic Matte Red plastidip on all the car except roof, maybe a portion of the hood and black accents left in tuxedo black.
3) Black out all chrome with plastidip matte black.

Here is the color that we will try to get:

I could have chosen blue too, but wanted something different since my 2010 has been wrapped in metallic matte blue.
Once this new one will be completed, I may be submitting my car for ROTM again and hopefully others will join me this time ; )

Yep..... sure sounds like another winning SHO in the making....

Like others have stated previously, look'n forward to the end result(s)!
