I want mine to sound like a GN. I've heard a couple that have that sound.

Needmoreboost said:The Corsa system is actually not a cat back because it removes this third cat. But, it's also a LOT of moola. Bottom line, a good tune makes 95% of the power versus anything else you can do outside of meth or upgraded turbs.
I didn't get an order for hot pipes, did I miss something?SwampRat said:Needmoreboost said:I removed only the third cat. Sound level went up maybe 5-8% tops. I can though hear the turbo's spool down now at start up. Pretty cool. The car feels like it does spool a little faster. The Corsa system is actually not a cat back because it removes this third cat. Yes $ for $ a tune is the best bang for the buck , But if you want more power than what a base tune with mostly stock intake / exhaust can provide you Need to improve on the bottle necks in the rest of the system .
The second best improvement over a tune is Better Downpipes .
Some Folks just Map the way to where they want to end up differently .
MY first Mod was the Corsa exhaust then AirAid then the BIG one .... TCE/Wilwood Brakes .
PPE HotPipes with TIal BOV are ordered and on the way .
Yup, he PM'd me.BiGMaC said:Mike... I sold SW the ones I bought from you when you were returning the preV ride to stock.

I just let Jeremy know to russle up a new Tial BoV to replace the one he used from the pipes and I need to get an inventory to make sure we're not missing any silicone bits or clamps.

SHOdded said:Maybe when SR gets his SHO back & replaces the injectors, a flow test (actual vs commanded) can be done to compare OEM vs the aftermarket units.

Great info Dave. Thanks! :thumb:
If memory serves an AFR of 14.7 is exactly what the EPA requirements are.
