Do you think this truck is totaled?

My brother got rear ended by a school bus the other day that pushed him into another f150 that was in front of him. Here are a couple pictures. The frame is bent in a few places but the collision shop says the repairs will cost about 8400 and the truck will still be worth 18000 after its done. I think with structural damage on the carfax the value is going to tank. What are your thoughts?

If they don't total it he should sell it ASAP - and then file a loss-of-value claim against the other guys insurance. We did that with an Explorer years ago and came out 10k ahead.

Totalled. Sue for loss of value.  Then buy the truck back from the insurance company and got rod it out!
