Can i even run e85 (or a mix of 93/e85) in my 2010 sho or does it have to be a flex fuel compatible car?

That would be a question for your tuner...and its critical you adhere to the mixing requirements...e85 is not to be added haphazardly
Yeah, don't be like that FoMoCoSHO guy!

We just got the same at our local sheetz too!  Definitly going to work on an e20 mix here soon.  So are most people (with 93 available) mixing 93 + e85?

I want to take some measurements of actual e content on these when I start too.  Its such a big range...
I just tested mine 2 weeks ago, it was 70% ethanol. And the 93 octane was 9-10%

Getting "true" E85 is tricky, so you have to be consistent about your supplier at the very least, in addition to datalogging for your tune.

Yeah of course! I wouldn't dare running it without telling you first LOL

I just meant .. like i didn't even know that was an option until now!

Is it worth the hassle? Compared to 93 (which according to you my 93 was good quality) what power gain should i expect going from that to e85?

Yeah well only one gas station here has e85. I didn't think that was consistent enough though, i thought e85 could be anything from 60-85% ethanol depending on the day

Ethanol blended tunes are returning some great logs....i would say for E20 you can run an extra 2-5 degrees of spark and E30 maybe 5-10 degrees but it still varies basee on the vehicle and local fuel quality

That's kind of the tricky part about achieving consistency with E blend tunes. Depending on your state and the time of the year they switch the class of E85 that gets used/distributed. Class 1 being E79 or higher down to Class 3 which is usually around 70%.
Here is a great reference for what gets used depending on your location.

I see some possibilities in South TX, South NV, Mississippi, Florida, but yeah, Hawaii would RULE!
Don't rule out CO! despite the normal ethanol schedule posted above(which looks terrible for CO) there's one petroleum company that makes true 85% Ethanol 365 days a year just happens to be 6 miles from my house! . . i could use the company up here too haha
