E85 concentration above 85%?

So I'm getting ready to run an e30 tune and I tested the e85 at my local gas station with the tube water+ E85 gauge I bought online... According to this method/gauge the concentration of e85 is actually higher than 85%... roughly 87%. Has anyone else ever seen a high concentration like that? Everything I've read states 83% to be the max and that is supposedly rare. Just curious.

Well thats good news... I have been reading about reports of people finding it as low as 40%... Which from my understanding is lower than regulation. This is the only gas station I've tested so far in my area. Being it is my usual stop I just went ahead and used it since the rating was much higher than I expected... 😎

In Phoenix we used to have around e90 ish.  However, we became a flex fuel state, and now it runs e54.  So yeah.....

well that sux about e54 ...

I look at the bright side of it.  I think with a upgraded HPFP, pump e54 will perfect for what I want to. Quick test, verify it is e54, pump straight into car, have Brad turn her up to 110%, let her ride.

If it’s e54, you save money on fuel... corn gas is cheaper than 93 by a dollar here. To get your e30 you need more corn gas this way... as long as it’s consistent I’m ok with it. Mine runs about e70 most of the time
