E85 or 100 octane

I'd rather find something I can do myself. I found this fuel dryer which Is half the price of the ethanol version. I'd assume they work similarly.

I'm going to do some tests on my supply and see what my percentage is at when it's been sitting vs agitated to see if this stuff does any kind of separation.

Seems like this subject hasn't been thoroughly investigated. At least not documented on the net.

Thats a good idea. i got several fueling stations i can buy anything from. They are small to medium fueling outlets. I know i can buy 55 gallon drums of meth and race gas from them. I'll have to ask about E98....

Are you having your tunes adjusted or just monitoring FRP???

Just called the gas station I bought my e85 from. Turns out I can buy e98 from them if I call ahead of time. Which is awesome!
I've tried to get E98 locally, no luck :(

Torrie is adjusting the tune for me. I did a run at 26% and he says I have room for more E so I'm going up to 28% tonight. Should be interesting to see what happens.

Anyone know of a calculator that works with E98? I've looked around and can't find one. Reason being it will be hard to do a boat load of unconfirmed math to find my dilution ammount.

I talked to the manager and he said the pump mixes the blends for them where as a few other stations have the truck driver just add in what they think is correct. Or so I'm told. Either way if I can't figure out how much to use its useless to me.

Also he told me to get the correct mix the nozzle needs to be on the first click. would of been nice to know before...

VP racing sells e100 or 98? Around here it is about 12$ a gallon in a 5 gal container
It's 98% anything over is considers liquor. So I've been told.

I can buy e98 for 2.69 a gallon here.

So I did some testing and logging with blended fuel. Started at e20 and moved up to e30 now. On the e30 with just my 93 meth tune from LMS in seeing ltft around 7-8% and stft around 3-5% frp holding fine at wot and Afr at wot settles in around 10.7-11.2 with the meth injection spraying. Highest boost seen was 18. 16 on average. No knock and ecu isn't pulling timing. Feels like its got a bit more power. Hopefully I can get it on a local dyno soon and I'll do a 93 only baseline then blend a tank and drive around till the trim gets adjusted well and do an e30 pull. From what I can tell ( using torque to log) the 2013+ fuel system can handle the blend. I may try unleashed for an e30 tune.

Good to hear. I'm getting ready to log 28% now so we shall see what it does.

For anyone looking how to calculate a mix here's a quick way to do it. Sorry for the sloppy handwriting.

New tune?

So those of us using 93 octane that has 10% E in it already....

Running 4.5 of E85 and 14.5 of 93 E10 makes?  27.7% ...

Yeah on the new tune.

You are correct, 27.76% ethanol.

For everyone that's using e85 or under you can use this calculator. For anyone using e98 you will have to do the math.

Here is the calculator. http://intercepteft.com/calc.html

I cant wait to see a dyno curve for someone running the blend of E.
Here are some comparisons on a ST.

Yaaa on mazdaspeeds going 50/50 makes massive amounts of torque.

The dyno for our car will quiet all the nay Sayers that preached there was no benefit of running E.
