So my wife and I needed a bigger car due to second child on the way. She traded in the CRV for a explorer. We were looking at the Limited. I suggested the sport. Anyway she looked at the sport one night and decided that she liked the way it looked. I didn't say anything about the motor. Just said " cool, looks good". So we ended up getting the a 14 black on black sport. Then I told her it was turbo'd. Well she loves it. Happy wife happy life.

So with that said. I'm a bit of a gear head, but I'm new to the ford scene. I wanna wake this thing up a little. But here is the catch. I can't do the exhaust. She will notice that. So I was thinking the Livernois T-stat, plugs, intake, and programmer.

Does this sound like the best option? If so what can I expect from this setup?

Thanks for your feedback.

Welcome and Congratulations!  Sounds like a great plan to me.

Edit- You can expect a very noticeable power increase.

Welcome aboard! :hi:

Check our for sale ads section I believe one of our members recently posted a tuner which LMS uses exclusively.

Kolk1 is the user. Looks like  a good deal over new.

Disregard that suggestion, but still, welcome aboard once again.

I gained 45 WHP and 69 WTQ on my SHO with just a Stage 4+ tune.  Best times in my signature.  I think the Flex and XSport are in the mid-13's with just a tune.

Welcome! A tune is deifinantly worth the investment. Once your tuned you will notice a dramatic increase in performance. Usually people either go with a  Livernois tune or a Unleashed tune.

I have a 14 XSport with the LMS tune, Tstat, CAI, plugs and a few other mods...
It is a big difference in power and perform. I have had it installed since about 1k miles. And never go back to stock...worth every penny..I don't run the track, so no info there..but people can't believe the speed and power of this truck tuned..

Welcome to EBPF  noidster!!!

Since your a self declared gear head  , prepare for the empty wallet syndrome  LOL ! !

Plenty of performance stuff for your ecooboost available .

Thanks everyone. I will most likely do what I mentioned earlier as far as mods go. Thats going to have to be the start and finish point for this ride. As you can see in the avatar. I already have a mod monster to deal with.

So is there anyone on this forum from the Bay Area? Wouldn't mind meeting some new people and checking out some other rides.
