Ford badge overlays

I am searching for black badge overlays for my 13 SHO.  I have found quite a few eBay auctions selling them, but I want to make sure I get the right size.  I don't know if there's a difference in the SHO badges and the base Tauruses, or even a difference between 10-12 and the 13 SHO's.  The website I got my Explorer Sport overlays in the UK doesn't have Taurus badges, so I'm SOL there.

Have any of you 13's gotten overlays?    If so, where did you get them from and do you have a link?

I found those same ones online from the UK and I would love to get those for my taurus.  I believe the taurus badges are the same size as the smaller one that is included in the explorer set sold by the UK company. I was hoping they might sell 2 of the smaller overlays.

You might check with DJE624... He didn't have good luck with overlays. :(  Unless you have a blue oval with a back-up cam init you may have better luck with Billet Badges.  You get what you pay for.  :smartass:

I did buy some white overlays last summer.  The black ink on them was all runny and they were about 1/16th too small.  They did take them back for a full refund.  I asked about getting some black ones from the guy last month or so.  He said he didn't have the right size at the time.  Maybe after the holidays.  The only way to be sure it's the right size is to measure them height and width, contact the maker and verify.  You can stretch them a little.  I'm gonna try again after the holidays.

The only safe way to do it is measure them and contact seller.  You might have to have them specially made to size. Measure for the stickers so that they will just cover all the blue.

I've been thinking lately of just leaving mine alone.  After all, it is "The Blue Oval".  And, it doesn't clash with white like it does with other colors.

I've always throught that it really doesn't even clash with my red car...but I would consider a Ford overlay in red....I don't want any more SHO on my car..heck, it says SHO on the vents, SHO on the C-pillar, SHO on the trunk lid, and SHO on the hood stripes...that's enough already! :french:

Ya' What DJ said!

I'll only have 8 SHO logos on the car  IF I do caliper covers..... But I'd like the Ford oval with black inlay for the color scheme I've got

I just like to debadge my cars as much as possible and removing the blue oval would help. I am actually really surprised that it turned out that I liked the look of the SHO emblazoned vents.
