Going back to Stock Tune

Hey guys, so I have to pass emissions so I'm taking the catless downpipes and re-installing my factory pipes with cats. I'm setting my tune back to factory settings also. Question is do I have to swap out the 3 bar back to the 2 bar map sensor??

Yes, most definitely.  Stock tune + 3 bar MAP = unhappy car & driver

Which strategy code are we referring to here? Pardon my ignorance

The latest OEM/factory strategy code installed on your SHO.  Should be available from the LME servers at the time you use the MyCal to revert to stock.

The car on the stock file cannot run with an aftermarket MAP sensor on it. You will automatically be sent to limp mode. That will also force you to fail an emissions check. Your stock tune is already on your MyCal tuner. All that you have to do is plug it into your OBDii port (diagnostic port) and follow the prompts on the screen to the custom tuning process. From there you simply hit the Y button when you find the file labeled "STOCK". It is MAYBE a 5 minute process, super easy.

When changing back to stock tune. Do you replace the 3 bar before or after changing the tune too stock?

Need to go in for the fuel pump recall soon.

Doesn't matter just make sure it is changed before you attempt to start or your car will be very unhappy. You won't hurt anything but it will feel like its running on 3.5 cylinders.
