Those were LMS Stage 4+.  The temp was about 64.  My intake temp still got up to 115 by the time I staged.  The lines were really long.

I hope to get my 3 Bar, T Stat and Xv1 before the end of season.

LOL.  Sorry your kind of locked in with only one option now...

I will hopefully get out this Friday, but weather is now showing storms...:(.  We will see.

Nice trap on the one run though.  Keep on truckin'.

1.894 and 1.911  I had the tires down to 26 psi but they still spun a little.  May have had the revs too high.  About 2200.  Maybe 2000 would be better.  I'm also wondering if I should ease into the gas a little.

Great 60' ft's...  Truthfully, if you want to get into the 12's without W/M, you need Torrie's tunes and perhaps a 100 octane Torrie tune if you can get 100 octane unleaded at the strip.  My experience with 4+ was that it was .2 and 2 mph slower in the 1/8 mi than Torrie's 93 canned tune.  This is from my runs at CF raceway in late Sept... when temps were much warmer.  81 deg... I turned a 8.59 1/8 at 81.6 mph. in the Flex.  4+ was around 8.86 @ 79 mph. 93 octane fuel  + a bit ( small amount of E-85).

Keep chipping away at those times, Dave!  Good work on the videos :thumb:  If you read through Steve's writeup on how to improve your times, how many points on that checklist do you think you met, and how many can you improve, without any further mods to the car?

I would actively blame the long lines for now :)

Just re-read Steve's post.  I did pretty much every thing on there.  My biggest problem I think was having over 3/4 tank of gas.

You might be able to save 100 lbs. just in gas and there is .1 seconds right there.

I have my 3bar just waiting on the xv1...
Anyone have any insight as to when xv1 will be released?

I have been waiting since May... : (
Drag season almost finsished up here. I am a bit sad to be honnest. When I switched to the 2013, I never expected the codes to be so difficult...
Well, at least the car runs great meanwhile, I am just so close to the 11's... !

Hey Dave!
Sorry you didn't reach the 12's this weekend, but there is still hope. I didn't go to see the DA, but I presume it could be cooler and the wind a bit more cooperative right?
Also, the gas tank being 3/4 full, that is almost 0.1 sec just there.
The Eibach aren't the H&R... It is a good in between sport and comfort, but H&R do launch a bit firmer and maybe the aerodynamics play a bit at one point.
Finally, I have my questions regarding the K&N... I drove Bigpelo's car the other day. We couldn't get his car to get in the 12's neither and he has the K&N. It surely makes more noise (which I prefer over the Airaid that is much quieter). However, for a reason that I can't explain, I felt his car was sluggish... But I didn't compare apples with apples since my ride has H&R,  exhaust, downpipes and methanol in addition to the tune only that he has along with his K&N...
Could it be possible that the K&N is just a noise maker, but actually not optimal?
Lastly, what are your tires? If you have 4 seasons or F1, for sure they are not good for drag racing.
Good luck for next time!

Ahh, so the 11's are still managing to stay just out of our reach.  It sounded(last fall) like they were so close, it's amazing how difficult it can be to reach these goals. I know you guys are trying very hard to achieve the 11's so I am still looking forward to the day when one of you posts that first 11 second time slip! I'm cheering and supporting you guys all the way!

Thanks Steve!  Are you referring to the K&N intake?  I run the panel with the stock box.  Sometimes I wish that I had gotten the H&R springs but I didn't want that much drop.  I just wanted to get rid of that jacked up look.  Yeah, I'm running the stock Primacy.  You can hear in one of the videos they spin a little.  Not really a lot.  I don't have a clue what the DA was but IIRC it was 1000',  64 degrees and about 50% humidity.  Thanks again for all the tips!

I had 12.09 sec. and many runs on different occasions in the 12.1 seconds (many are on youtube actually).
That was with my 2010.
I figured that with the 2013 with PP that launches 0.1 second faster, with all same mods, but with the addition of downpipes I could get into the 11's easily, but I hadn't factored in potential difficulties to tune the car... ; ) Dan from LMS told me last May in person that my 2013 is tuned very conservatively compared to my 2010. So, my 12.12 sec. with the 2013 is what reassures me that 11's are just around the corner...

BTW, I really have to laugh!  My 80 year old mother "liked" my drag video on Facebook and said "Wow"! ;D
