hi, trying to find the previous owner or at least figure out my new 2013 SHO

Pretty much any time on weekends.  Weekdays it depends on where you want to meet (drive time).  I am in Beltsville, right on the edge of Silver Spring next to the Auto Park on Rt 29.

That's what my next step was. Call one of them and ask if they kept the vin. I'm hoping the switch under the dash is for the meth... it's a on off switch so hopefully it can be turned off. Car runs smooth as it sits. I also followed the cord connected to the switch and it goes to the back of the trunk..

Before Turing anything off you need to make sure the car is returned to stock. The tune that's in there might require the meth. If not you could potentially blow the motor.

In which case methanol needs to be found & supplied :(  Hopefully the tune in there now does NOT use methanol and the switch can be turned to off, and I do believe there is a high probability of this being true IF the car was driven hard at test drive time.
 
I'm a little familiar with meth just forgot what can be used as a substitute and where's the best best to buy it. If anyone can post it I'd appreciate it. I'm at work. Soon as I'm off I'll go buy it.

How far are you from ikea near laurel? I'm definitely available this weekend.
 
While the Audi dealer might not be willing to share the name of the previous owner, wouldn't they be willing to contact him and let him know you would like to speak with him?  I am assuming they dealt with the previous owner rather than obtaining the car from an auction.  I would certainly like to talk with the previous owner if I were you.

I tried that...they said no
 
If the washer fluid tank is dry, aka meth tank, then it's possible the previous owner ran it dry and returned car to stock tune before trading in. How long have you had the car?  If you have done some significant driving with no issues, that may be the case. If it's tuned for meth with no meth, you'd have problems. Best thing would be to have dealer confirm whether or not tune is stock, if not return to stock. Then get in contact with LMS or unleashed, get a tuner with a meth tune, then buy some meth, and finally enjoy your fast SHO!
 
I would definitely take it easy on the car till you either fill the washer resivour with a winter blend of washer fluid (higher meth content) or boost juice from a speed shop.
 
This is why you should not buy a modded car from a dealership or EBay. Very tough to piece together the road traveled without a direct connection to the owner. I hope it works out for you and if you want to keep some warranty, I would not be bringing to a dealer to figure it out. Do some research and contact some vendors and maybe you can piece it together to who owned this car before you.
 
Definitely get with SHOdded or check your MAP sensor. If it's the 3 bar, you are tuned because the stock strategy won't run with the 3 bar.

If it is tuned I'm pretty sure your only option is having the dealership return it to stock.

Preaching to the choir man lol because believe me I know.  Modded is a no no. I just didn't see the meth kit..had I, I wouldn't have bought it. But I think everything will be ok.. at least I hope so.  I'm getting with Shodedd real soon!
 
You may have some push back against the dealership you bought it from if they said that it had a warranty. I would tell them to give you a non-Ford comprehensive warranty plan just to make you happy.

You know what I'm glad you said that. I'm definitely going to call them up and yell lol. They definitely told me.it had warranty!!!!
 
You guys think it would be OK to fill the washer with the winter blend as stated above...or wait and see if me and shoedd  can find out what tune is on it.. I'm wondering if it's tuned for a 50/50 blend would 100% be a killer for a short period of time?
