hi, trying to find the previous owner or at least figure out my new 2013 SHO

That AWD launch is nice...I'd just be really surprised if it was sent away being tuned from a dealer. It wasn't a ford dealer so who knows...

Dpipes and springs can take a few tenths off, but that hot air intake isn't helping much...lol

My coyote is pretty much 12 flat or high 11..The sho isn't  anywhere near that but I'd say about 12.5-12.8

Then it has a tune for sure.

It is possible that the tune was left on the car, if the prev owner did not remove the methanol kit.  BUT the kit appears to have been disconnected (light does not turn on at the dash switch).  Anybody know a good source of methanol in Maryland?  A good brand of windshield wiper fluid as substitute?

Nope, but then we didn't get to pull the engine cover off.  Was too darned hot, almost burnt my fingers even touching it!  The bellypan was on there, so no peek at the downpipes either.  That will be done when the car goes in for servicing and is up on a lift.

Does the vehicle have xm radio and is it active? There is a serial number or meid number on the screen display and write it down and then you can call XM radio and politly find out info on who subsribed.

Wouldn't it be better just to ask the dealer flat out?  No legal/ethical dilemma.
I tried.. they said they couldn't even just call him for me..smh.. but I'm going to try again because there in hot grease now with this warranty issue..

I have been following this thread for 5 pages, PM me the VIN and a direct email address for you and I will get you an answer as to the prior owner.  I am leaving shortly and wont be back until Tuesday, but if you can get it to me by noon today, I can tell you what I found.  I need the VIN and a direct email address for you.  I cannot believe the Audi dealer won't even call the prior owner for you.

Will get it very soon!

Thanks for jumping in here, TSS.  This has been driving me slightly nuts, too.  Everyone has had good suggestions but Coyote really needs to chat with the prior owner.  I am disgusted that the Audi dealer will not contact the prior owner but there is more than one way to skin a cat.

Yeah,  I was sitting tight because I was positive it was going to easily resolve itself through the dealer being an intermediary.  I can't believe they are refusing to even contact the owner themselves and give him Black Coyote's number.  Makes you wonder if there might be something more to the whole story on the dealer's side.

My thoughts exactly.  I wouldn't trust that dealer as far as I could throw an Audi A8.
