hi, trying to find the previous owner or at least figure out my new 2013 SHO

ya. if its stock and warm the gauge will be centered. If its aftermarket it will be slightly lower. or with the SCT monitor the coolant temp if it stays closer to 180 or 170 when warm its got a different T-stat. Stock will be 190ish

So no freaking 3 bar.. how was this car tuned?? I have the sct, couldn't tell what tune is on it but there's only 1. I'm thinking just go ahead and hurry and get it retuned..I just wanna make sure there's no other hidden modifications.

Seems like the same part number that ZSHO had on his MAP just recently while at the track.  Yeah, definitely not the right 3 bar, if a 3 bar at all.  CX-2228

Retuned for the 2 bar would be good.  Install the 3 bar later and have the tune updated for that.

EDIT:  Definitely a 2 bar the one you have:

What's the difference 3 bar better to tune or makes more power?

Both if you really do have upgraded turbos.  Could explain why they didn't see a big power gain with meth.  Stock sensor only reads 14.7 psi with the 3 bar sensor that goes to 29.4 if I remember correctly.  With an aggressive tune and low altitude you can Max out the stock sensor with stock turbos.  So you can tune better which allows more power.

Both great tuners...best thing would be write down what you're looking for in the tuning process and call both personally.

Checked with the torrie tunes today guys. Anyone with the livernois tune have any insight on the pros of that tune?
For me it was simplicity.  I went LMS because I don't want to spend all my time data logging tweaking the tune for hundredth of a second in my 0-60 and because Anthony & the crew... even Dan himself has been very good about discussing mods with me on the phone and answering my general questions. Some philosophic reasons too I suppose.  But those you will decide on your own. I love my v8 tune and run a 4sec 0-60 on crappy AZ 91 octane with no problems or poor mileage in my lead foot daily driving.
Both tuners can do a good job as far as performance.

BigMac is 100% correct,it comes down to if you want a tune based on your vehicles mods and simplified and sets its own parameters to self adjust for example cat back and cold air go with LMS like i did,if you want to do datalogging and tweaks here and there then go with someone else, honestly I was one of the first to get the V8 LMS,DP 170STAT,3-BAR TUNE early this year and couldnt ask for anything more.

I don't even know how to data log... I've seen it done but yea I'm not trying to do all of that, but is it needed with a torrie tune? I called lms first around 3 but no answer twice.  Torrie answered immediately so I just started with some questions and that's why so far I'm going with them.

I still plan to check with lms though.  As of right now I just want a tune for the upgraded internals the intake and a switch from a 2 Bar to a 3 bar sensor.
