High speed hesitation

Anyone ever had their SHO “fall on its face” when doing 80-100 under heavy throttle? As I was getting into it, then it almost felt like the power cut completely for a second, then got back on it and cut again. There was some slight hesitation prior to that so I thought it was plugs but the more I read steers me to think PCM.

After a minute it drove fine. Had a few moments where I nailed it and she drove like a champ. Did the same 80-100 again and nothing but smooth sailing. Any ideas?
 
Check for any codes set!  I'm hoping its something simple as a loose waste-gate hose loose!  Z

No codes, and only did it that one time. Felt like when traction control cuts on at low speed. Tks Z, Ill check that here soon!
 
Does it feel like 3rd gear is just pulling forever and it's accelerating so slowly you don't even think it's gonna shift?  Mine occasionally does this.  Usually when it's above 90* outside.
 
Nah mine was like an abrupt cut in power. She downshifted and started to go, then suddenly cut power and came back on. Weird
 
Been known to happen if the knock sensor wiring issue kicks in, tho you might notice more of a stutter first.  Worth a check.  Do you monitor your SHO regularly with Torque Pro or similar tool?

Interesting, it did have a slight stutter under medium accelerating about 20 minutes prior. I do monitor using DashCommand but that night i did not. Coming home late from an Astros game so I didn't think about it. Although today I noticed KR was higher than I have ever seen it.

And yes I just changed the pads and had the rotors turned.




On both those ideas, how do I check to either rule them out or correct the issue?
 
It hit 5.5-6.0 today while in 6th gear cruising about 60 mph. Eased into the gas and watched the needle climb then let out of it.
 
Yeah I also thought about changing the plugs as well since I'm finally installing my Meth kit. Figured they should be replaced anyway.
