This, I can comfortably say without even blinking......

Like hell you'll be faster than me. I can absolutely guarantee you will NOT.

But hey, good luck trying. Just be sure to enjoy the view of my "pretty" rear end as you'll NEVER see anything else shoman04.

Good! I like the rusters fighting!
I wouldn't eliminate me neither...
If LMS can just make a tune equivalent as 2010-12 stage 5 but for the 2013, with downpipes, I should be able to run 11.8 at 119mph...
2013 with PP do launch faster.
Shoman04's car is lighter.
Mike will have upgraded turbos, so if no traction issues, he should be faster...
Hopefully LMS can work their magic before season ends.
Up here, it is in two months...
Can't wait!!!

For you guys that have been tuned for quite a while, how does the tune effect the warranty on the car and what have your experiences been at the Dealer with the tune installed? I recently picked up my 2010 PP and I want to tune it, but have a Ford Certified Pre-owned warranty until 100k and then an extended warranty for 24 months or 24k after that.

If you are worried about it, don't do it as it can be used to void your power train warranty.

Depends on your relationship with your service adviser (I recommend making friends with them!).

If something major breaks (Engine, trans, etc), a Ford Engineer may be sent to look into the cause and that tune will certainly be blamed and your dealership will have NO SAY at that point.

Actual policy is for dealer to tear down engine and send Ford pix.  They also send Ford all the data from Your ECM.  Ford can tell both how many times your ECM has been flashed, and also how many times the car has been started and stopped since your last flash.  Since dealers report any ECM flashes they do, Ford can tell how many unauthorized ECM flashes have been done.  IF... Ford declines your warranty claim, all of the costs to tear down and repair will be your responsibility, and at a price you will need to negotiate with your dealer's service department.

So.. if you think you broke something expensive, it may be better to go to a non-Ford shop and find used parts.  Once torn down, it's pretty hard to move your car elsewhere, especially if they have pulled the engine/transmission, which comes out the bottom.  There are technical bulletins on this if you wish to see Ford's policy in writing.

2011 SHO off the train 12-23-2010 in my hands 12-24-2010(what a Christmas gift ) Tune it Mar 2011, METH 9-11-2013 and 55kmi and love it!!!!!
