Well, I sold the RX8 R3;;after a lot of researching I found out NOBODY can freaking tune the series 2 (it was a 2010 model with the newer rotary). It was literally not a market for some reason and turbo kits + standalone management was flaky. I read a lot of posts and saw a lot of videos of people who just couldn't get it right. After that I started feeling it was useless--the car was tiny, I was getting burned out on wanting to do all this modifying--so it went.

I sold it and bought this. LMAO. It's back in Texas at my parents house. I'm actually moving back to Texas after August--going to move back into the house I own out there and get back to simple life. Too damn fast up here in PA for me and the congestion is pissing me off. I'm tired of 30 mile ride home taking me almost 2 hours because of traffic.

Anyways; it's a 2013 HD CVO Road King 110th Anniversary Limited. It is my first HD and my first cruiser ever; I grew up riding sport bikes (Aprilia to be exact). It's a fun bike; slow bike; comfortable bike. My dad and I went to Luckenbach, TX on it when I got it--was awesome. Way different than the old sport bikes but I guess getting older means I rather slow down. Haha; I got my SHO for speed. ;)

NICE!

And yes... you are getting old!! LOL  Just get one of those German helmets and you will be golden!

HAHA; exactly!

I'm going to get one of those full face modulars that pop up.

Definitely want to keep my noggin safe. I wonder what people would say if I put my old full leather race suit on? HAHA

It don't need to be slow...
There is a great shop in Texas called "Darrell's custom cycles"
He can do big motor upgrade and cut and take front end to run a 30" or 26" front wheel.

I have a fun custom 26" street glide being built right now...

Here is a a few pics....

Here is a 30" road king that lays frame... Bad ass..

If you put the leathers on you will have to stencil "If you can read this... THE BITCH FELL OFF" on the back.  Required on every Harley outfit!!!!

That's pretty funny :)
I had my bike for a couple of years and then decided it's either too hot or too cold to ride it so I got rid of it. My new V is as fast or faster then most bikes already so it's a sporty car that hauls ass.
Have fun with the bike, a supercharged Vrod would have been cool but too small for you (at least it is for me). Most Harleys were too small that's why I bought the Yamaha Raider, with 3" extensions it was awesome and powerful.

Nice bike but it wouldnt work for me. Im 60 and still enjoy doing a wheelie on the on ramp to the freeway.
I had a Buell with a built motor and I just sold a B-King (164 hp naked Hayabusa) with a Two Brothers exhaust.
Enjoy the new toy and watch out for the cagers!

Good looking bike...I've always been partial to Honda's and I loved my Gold Wing.  Now that was a tourer.  Nothing like having all the creature comforts and the reliablity of a Honda.  As far as helmets, I've always been a fan of Simpson or Impact.  They are not cheap but there are not better them.

Nice bike!

I'm a Mazda guy, but not a fan of the Renesis. I think you made a good choice by parting with the RX.

I love me some bikes!!! Guess im not old enough for a cruiser, im only 33.

Blue is doing 300whp, its a 2007 ZX-14 with a built motor, turbo kit, you name it. White one is a 2013 ZX-14R, im setting it up for touring and back roads. Start using it for my long trips and when I want to go drag knee somewhere.

Bought the White one yesterday. I loved taking the Blue out on back roads before it became a monster. If I lived closer to good roads I would of bought a 1000, but I probably spend 75% of my time on highways. So I want something more comfortable, and I know the 14 is more than capable to do what I need it to in the turns. I was also considering a Concours, the touring version of the ZX-14. Most people who havent ridden a ZX-14, are very surprised how nimble they are. If I still lived in memphis, id still be on a 600 or 1000, but out here its not worth it, until I get at least an hour away from home. Even then, they are longer sweepers, so the bulk of the bike isnt bad.

You know we will need project pics/vids for the '13, right?  That is a requirement for posting on this forum :D
