Ok, so I did the VTA mod and used the rubber chair end caps. I was recently cleaning my engine and noticed they are dry rotting pretty bad so I had to change them out. Just wanted to warn you if you did it that way to check them before they rot and suck into the turbos and into the engine.  And if you found a better way of capping them off please share. Thanks.

Once I removed mine they didn't seem as bad as they looked but they were only on for 6 mos. but just wanted to make sure it doesn't happen to someone. So I am on the hunt for some better caps

Manu is right.... Go high temp silicon... Mine look new after 18 months.  There's a link in the Hotpipes install on '13 SHO "how to" I posted.

Advance Auto has a Mr. Gasket valve cover grommet kit. It comes with two grommets, one is an open grommet. The other is a closed grommet. I bought two packages to get two closed grommets. Flipped the closed gasket upside down and slid it over intake tube. Added a zip tie to the groove in the grommet and tightened it down. Sealed, with parts that are designed to be on cars.

Looks like Mr. Gasket offers a 2 plug package as well. Part # 6375 $3.95 on their (Mr. Gasket) website.

Plugs huh??  Crap. I never thought of that. I just used them damn caps and the original clamp on em too. Hmmm.  Great. Thanks!

I would be careful about plugs unless there's enough top surface to keep them from getting sucked in. When I was scanning MG's site I thought the ones
I posted were what was being referenced earlier.

exactly, I would definitely rather have a cap than a plug.

All, in their "proper" use they are plugs. In our application you flip them over act they are caps. Fit perfectly no worries.

Ahhhhhh....  Now I get it. I did not know it was open on the other end.  Perfect.  Thank you!!  I just put this up in case someone "like me" used the rubber chair ends so they check em to be safe. However I will be getting these caps ASAP. They look to work perfect.
