I searched and could not find a how-to write-up for changing out the t-stat. I know the basics of what I have to do, but would just like to reaffirm a couple facts. Thanks in advance for the help.
Others have asked about a "How-To" for changing out the T-Stat, but the general consensus was that it was/is such an easy swap, that one wasn't really necessary.
What facts are you trying to reaffirm?
I'm sure either I, or others who have performed it, can answer them for you.
I thought there was several how to on this subject, either here or else where. Either way changing is no different then any other vehicle I have ever done.
Just a little small advice,just have the proper o ring ready with the stat and make sure the car is cold,let the car sit overnight,so when you remove those 2 8mm bolts you will have the least amount of fluid coming out,and also remove the reservoir cap,release any pressure build up,i lost about 6 ounces,
