Thank God for the ventilated seats feature.

Keeps any noxious gas fumes from penetrating deep into the cushions.

Which reminds me, may want to change out those filters as well.

Whew!

:nuclear:

I have to admit that I change my mind every 12 months and it has never ever looked anywhere near that dirty. Maybe it has something to do with the area you live in. Do you live next door to a coal factory? :)

You should stop busting ass in your car. That is nasty!

Sent from my mobile, I think.

No coal, a few wood burning stoves but no coal.  The first time I changed it after my purchase at 50k it literally had "crud" in the pleats like caked up dirt and debris something to keep tabs on without a doubt.

I just picked up mine today and changed it. I used the store brand from O'Reilly's Auto Parts, #4018. It comes with a full set of instructions (with photos) and also has the arrow for air flow, which the MotorCraft part did not. Price, $6.99 plus state gratuity.  It is made by WIX, but a few dollars cheaper. Seems to be good quality, and equal or better then MotorCraft.

I could not believe how bad it was after only 8000 miles. I also changed my engine air filter at the same time, same thing, filthy. So, on schedule to change both at the same time.

Thanks for the reminder!

Just checked mine for the first time since I got the car last MAY ...... it needs to changed for sure. It was filled with a ton of crud.
