Where'd you go buddy? We got to chat briefly, but then you were gone. Caught me right when the wife was letting me sneak in on her day at the track, and let me get a few runs in. Glad to of met ya, wish we could've chatted more.ZSHO said:It honestly was a pleasure to finally meet Rich (SHOnUup)and the whole crew at Milan dragway sponsored by the one and only Livernois Motorsports, after a last minute decision without any sleep, made a ten hour trip to Milan but the long trip really took a toll out of me and the car,so my stay was very limited and was worth every bit to experience such a cool event unfold. Those #'s sound about right. That trans temp is real cool. We saw 205 at the end of the day after many runs (more than I really wanted to do). Think Sunwolf (mike) said he was at 196 at the same time. Man those 2013 brakes are way better than the previous SHO'S.pejohnson said:I cleaned the car up today from yesterday's track day. The passenger side front finder well was completely coated with tar and tire residue. Guess that was the wheel spinning the most. It took over an hour to clean all that gunk out. Also every inner rim had tons of tar and rocks caked on them. Another hour cleaning all four wheels. Then onto the car which was another hour. Took the family out to dinner tonight showing off my clean car again.
I'm curious since I have the Performance Package and can turn off traction control and advance traction control what does that mean? Every run I turned both off. Does that mean the wheel with least resistance is going to spin the most? I assume so since essentially I turn the computer off that controls those features. Also with this excessive spin on one wheel vs. equal distribution, is this hard on the AWD system? Most of the runs I witnessed, the front wheels were loosing traction on our SHOs.
Lastly I quickly collected the data from most of my runs. My max boost was typically 13.02 psi however on my best run it spiked to 15.08 psi. Does those seem like normal boost levels for stock turbos and the 93 LMS tune? Also I know a few guys were discussing transmission temps. My highest temp of the day was 166.77 F. Max. fuel pressure was 2404 psi. All data was taken from the Torque app for what it's worth.

I was thinking Rich after I left the track, next fall at the next LMS track day, let's put my TSW's on your car and see if it makes any difference. I can bring my jack and jack stands. I know folks have commented on this previously, but if you are thinking of getting new rims, try mine out first if you want.
