First off, mods if this is in the wrong section please move it to the correct section. Thank you.
Now, I ordered the mycal tuner from Livernois on Sunday night, had it on my possession by Wednesday afternoon and the tunes Friday morning. I also ordered the 160 thermostat through LMS, already had the 3 bar and SP534 plugs set at .30. Had to go with the 91V8 because that's the best we can get at the pumps but also got a 93 for the track when I can mix in a few gallons of 100 octane.
I won't bore everyone with the install commentary, most of us have been there. Friday night it was dumping rain so I didn't get the chance to drive around. Fast forward to Saturday, went for a quick easy drive to make sure I didn't have any leaks and everything checked out great, so it was time to play.
Stopped, turned off advancetrack, launched at 1800 and holy hell did this tank move. Slight spin out of the hole and a loud bark shifting into 2nd. Shut it down around 60 but I couldn't stop smiling. I just could not believe how hard the SHO pulled now. Spent the next 1/4 tank of gas
launching and going WOT from speeds varying from 10-60.
I love this car even more now and can't wait to head to the track next weekend. The 3bar, thermostat and tune definitly took the car to the next level but I will want more next season. Next up is catless downpipes, resonator/3rd cat delete and maybe a lil meth.
