Soooooo lessons learned part deux...
1: Yes, the method for raising, lowering, and setting preload are opposite front to back... adjusting the spring in the front sets preload and the strut adjusts heigh. Adjusting the spring in the rear sets height and the shock adjust preload.
2: Set the height in the rear and then set preload with the shock.
3: if you set the preload too much (compressing the spring) then you can bottom out the shock causing damage to it. Noticeable when going over speed bumps.
4: If you don't have any preload the rear end bounces around like one of the chicks in a twerking video.
5: The install is only half the battle with these things. Getting them adjusted correctly is the other half...
6: Megan Racing has no installation let alone how to properly set a rear multi link suspension.
My current setup is a half inch drop going from the back to front. I have 1inch of preload in the back which seems to be ok. I read everything from 1cm to 1.5inches for preload...
