Navigation accuracy

Sorry I've done a search on multiple forums but is anyone having problems with map accuracy and location with the Ford navigation? Mine is off a lot. Like 200ft. My car is always off the road. I've done the sync update to the latest version but I am running A4 map. I see that A6 is out.

My car is a 14' as you can see so not that old and it's done it for awhile. I see a lot of people with this problem but all the stuff I see online is outdated and from 12-13' so I don't see anyone posting with resolution.

If I need A6 map to fix it that's pretty shitty as my car is a 14' A4 should work fine. And these are new roads where I have problems its on 50 year old interstate roads.

Its not that map at all, its the GPS, I believe there is a TSB for it, whether it applies to the 14 idk. On my 13 Explorer I had it done and it fixed my issue and it never happened again.

I love the prosport boost gauges,do you recall when the issues started happening, hopefully not after the gauge install.Z.

Yeah I liked how the white lighting looked with all the stock white in the dash.....No not after the gauge install...Noticed it for awhile and just chalked it up to being flukes...Then after searching it's really widespread....Sad really how many people complaining about this.

I don't mind taking the car in once for a problem to be fixed...But it turns into 2 visits because they never have the parts on hand then you have to go back

I basically just wanted to make sure no one spliced the red power wire from the radio and used it to power up the gauges, another note did you try removing the sd card a few times so it can reboot just like a phone, anthing plugged in the usb ports like a phone charger or a usb stick which can cause inteference.

Yea I'm telling you, my gps would show us driving down the middle of the Columbia all the time, it was like ugh, nope. It pretty much made the nav useless as it would continually say "recalculating"

how much does an upgade cost? I'm assuming it would not be covered under 3 yr. warranty?
Cost will depend on SD card vs DVD... Available on eBay for $150 or so... I also can't find a version newer than A6, which I added about 3 months ago... Here's the Ford link to see what they have:

Of course, Z is correct, your sync should be the most current update... this can be set so that it does the sync update automatically, during which time the MFT touchpad will display in the left hand driver LED screen... If there is a new version I'll be unhappy as Ford contacted me for the "new" update when I went to the A6 nav maps.

I could of heard him wrong,(my bad)its kind of late here in N.Y and as a courtesy he will notify me tommorrow with any updates, confirmations with that.

My nav was off all the time and I had them update the GPS under the TSB.  Not had a single problem with it since...this was for a '13 SHO.
