Just getting on board here had some members suggest this site on another board that I just joined so here I am. MY name is Mike I am from western TN and work sent me north so here I am in western PA now, I am a long time ford guy who has had more mustangs then I care to think about but I will always have one as well. I picked up a '12 tuxedo black non pp sho  that has every damn option I guess even the massaging seats in July 12. All I have done to it thus far is the Airaid filter/box kit and a corsa cat back. I do wanna get down pipes, 3 bar map, and a tune this year if I can but since being out of work now for three weeks with a kidney stone that wont depart my body idk whats gonna happen.

I have a 04 f250 lariat cc fx4that has almost 200k miles on it now that has a programmer, 4" turbo back and egr delete since day with and the ole 6.0 still keeps on running with out any issues. There is also a full sized bronco 351 that just has TSL's and a gutted interior for hunting and taking the dog for a ride. I also have a 88 coupe that looks pretty stock but has a R block 308, victor JR heads, Victor 5.0 upper/lower, 80mm TB, 75# injectors, FAST, 76mm turbo, road race suspension... I also have some 160# injectors and may upgrade to a 88mm turbo if I can ever get it moved up here.

I also have a '12 Shelby with a ton of attitude and loves to race and she is truly the joy of my life.

Since I have a the  HTML codes up now I will go on and throw some pix up here.
The SHO when I was leaving Cincy pic by Beefcake.

Welcome to the community, glad you found your way over here :)  Lovely pic of Shelby!  Sorry to hear about your health issue, do you have any insurance coverage?  Aside from laparascopy, ultrasound can be used to break up kidney stones; a slower but still effective way to do it is using larger-than-normal doses of Vitamin C.

Welcome to EBPF nitrous_mike!!  (and Shelby too, congrats!)
:WELCOME:
Glad you're aboard.

Lotsa great folks and info here... Being a car guy you can make us all smarter too.
Your gonna love the SHO! ...and modding it.
Nice stable.  Wonderful intro!
BTW,...Any mods on the Shelby?

Welcome and Congratulations on the SHO....and Shelby!

Thanks, I did just undergo ESWL on Thursday but the one big stone between 5/6mm was hiding behind my rib so they could not get a good shot on it. I did pass a small sand grain size piece Friday night and thats been about it on it. I did finally get my FMLA papers yesterday so I will be going to the urologist tomorrow some time to get this started and I should get some short term disability but blah that barely covers the utilities. I do have pretty decent insurance but with two ER visits who knows what I will owe lol. I am tempted to try and get the doctor to try and let me go back but I do industrial maintenance for a living so thats all I need is to be in an electrical cabinet or trying to handle a 150# motor over head and have this sucker move on me. I have figured that I have stripper kidney stone since all it does is tease the crap out of me...

The Shelby did have the "sore butt" mod today since she has gotten into full swing of the terrible two's but it was fallowed up but soooowwwwy daaahhdaa and lots of loving lol.

Welcome aboard Mike, You had me with the '12 Shelby thing. I'm reading along thinking this guy has *GOTTA BE* single :P

There's a guy that works at the original NOS is Cypress (SoCal) that's name is 'Nitrous Mike' Thos he is into turbo Mopars and Chevy X-11's so clearly a different guy ;)  BTW I still have my black Buick turbo six (dash says #399 but its a 'tribute GNX') and you're right, they are fun 8)

I think he used to work for  NX back in  2000 when I raced FFW Reneged before they killed the class. His sn is how I wound up with the underscore on my sn.  Back when I started getting on message boards back in 99. There is also a Mike Nelson there that goes by nosnelson both are super nice and knowledgeable people who taught me a lot when I first got into melting pistons on a weekly basis

:WELCOME:  Glad you've joined us.  Hope you enjoy your time here. You should join us this June at the Ford Nationals in Carlisle if you can make it.

Thanks for all of the warm welcomes guys, I doubt I will make any meets this year since I just blew all of my Vaca time with this crap and my job usually has me working 6/7 days a week.

Shelby wanted to say hey to everyone so here is a new pic of her with her nappy hair lol lucky girl looks like me but has her momma's attitude ugh god help me.

Since it was brought up about the old school nitrousmike that has helped me a ton over the years here is a pic of the old coupe I ran back in the day when 9.20's were flying in the 1/4 and 5.80's were moving out in the 1/8. I ran this car on 275/60 BFG's or 28x11 et streets depending on the track or org. I ran a 398" windsor with 15.5:1 cr brodix T 1's by keith craft and at the time I still ran a c-4 that I swear I had velcro holding it in I had to swap it out so much.

I do miss those days it was always fun running with Manny Geno since he was semi local to me when he and I both  would travel to each others home tracks then run the national events in the same class . Now living up here and all people do is bracket race..... I gotta see what I can do about showing these guys what heads up racing is lol.

Dang Mike you're old :P  And I thought *I* waited late in life to propagate the species ;)  My kids will be in high school in a couple years and I'm preparing myself for their friends asking, 'Is that you grandpa picking you up today?' :-[

Nitrous Mike is the OG of Nitrous for sure  but can be a bit crotchety if you catch him on the wrong day especially if you have dumb questions like I did 15 years ago.  He passed away right?

Welcome to the club.  Enjoy your daughter when they are small, they grow up too freakin fast.  My daughter turned 18 in Dec, just seems like yesterday when was born.  Oh yeah, I so love your other toy too.

LOL oh come on I'm 34 even if my body tells me otherwise every dang day lol. I have been really lucky in life to have great jobs that payed me well and understood the boy loves to race lol. I was known as the damn kid most of the time when I went to the track since at the time I was just in my early 20's and running a national event .

The last time I was in contact with the OGNM was when holley was buying out NOS and he went to NX back in 01/02 hopefully he has not passed but he was getting on up in the years kinda like George Klass who is another grouchy sob at times.... maybe that is just a CA thing ? lol

People call me nitrous Mike too! :D
PA = wrestling country, you do any in HS?

LOL I have also been called big money mike as well as nitrous mike lol but that just sounded a lil ghetto when I first got into messing around on the net and settled with nitrous mike lol.

I am originally from Western TN and I guess you can say I did wrestle then, I grew up on a hog farm as well as having to hand pick sweet corn, peas, greens, and my parents let me grow pumpkins one year. But wrestling is big there too I remember my great grandmother watching midsouth wrestling live every sat morning when she was 93 lol. I just moved up here in 2011 so according to everyone here I still talk funny but love the cold and living in the mountains is kinda nice too. The corp. I work for has grown very rapidly and has now over 200 factories across the us so who knows where I might wind up next lol.
