Picked up my '13 SHO with PP this evening.  I was dead set on Sterling Gray with a PP and was fortunate enough to find one about an hour away.  I went from the mustang crowd to the lifted truck crowd and figured it was time to get back to the drag strip.  I wanted something I could drive year round and still take down the 1/4 mile.  Traded in my leveled 14 F150 on 35"s for the SHO and extremely happy.

Going to try to take it to the test and tune at the track this weekend to get a baseline.  Future plans are Livernois tune, 3 bar, down pipes (not sure if I want to go catted or not) cooler thermostat, plugs, H&R springs, meth injection and maybe a new intake.  Going to try to keep the exhaust as quiet as possible to maintain the sleeper appearance.

Appearance mods will stay very subtle. Tint, led lights, black badges and light tint on the tail lights.

Welcome aboard the E.B.P.F PARTNER,sweet looking ride you have there and great choice of color, and LME will certainly add some great power to all the wheels followed by a permanent grin which  will last a lifetime, best of luck with the new ride and feel fee to ask any questions you may have.  Z :WELCOME: :WELCOME:

What makes u think u need a thermostat and plugs?...everyone else does it?

Thermostat just seems like a common mod to keep the temps down, if they aren't really needed I won't do it.  Plugs are also a piece of mind for me since it has 44k miles.

If you live in a hot clime, or have stopngo traffic, or run the "hottest" tune, you will def want the cooler TStat to keep the engine happy.

And welcome to our little corner of Utopia ;) Glad to have ya here.

Shodded I respectfully disagree....if the cooling system is inadequate and u cant maintain the current thermostats rating then a new stat wont change that

I still think that the lower coolant temps allowed by new thermostats coupled with cooler plugs is contributing to people's claimed misfires

Cooler head temps from the coolant along with  a colder spark plug with an insulator that allows more heat to be extracted from the combustion chamber which lowers tip temp = misfires
