New Sync Update

Go into your iPhone settings, Bluetooth, and find SYNC. Click on the i, info icon on the SYNC, and there you should see an option that states  allow SYNC notification.

Also, text message from my 6S are coming thru again, sync reads them and alerts me.

How did you get this to work? My 13' won't work with my 5S.  My older version sync (2011) escape does them just fine!

Just checked what you mentioned.  My "show notifications" was in fact turned off!!  If this works you're my hero.

Just did the sync update for my 2010 SHO and after it said installation complete I hit the media button and it says media is unavailable, hit the radio button. Says the same thing. So I went to system settings and did a factory reset no same thing. I swear it's one thing after another with this car!

Try removing the ground on the battery for 1 minute,it will reboot(bring up the maintenance screen).  Z

just did the update. used the text by voice with my iphone 6, worked great!!! glad i saw this thread
