New To Site But Not SHO

Hello,
    I've been inactive for most forums for while.  I've been trying to figure out what direction to take the SHO.  To start off i've been a fan of the SHO since its inception.

I started with a 93 SHO.  The car was a lot of fun, i didn't get to enjoy it as much as i wanted.



I then got a 2010 SHO Non-PP.  The car was a lot of fun and a really good DD.  I keep the car stock with the exception being one of the first to get a 2013 Tranny cooler installed and axle-back exhaust.







I also AutoX'd this car and while it was a lot of fun, the fact it was a Non-PP caused some issues.







When the 2013's came out i went and got a 402a, with Nav and PP.  I've since added Tint, Clear Bra, and partially debadge trunk.











This car i does well with AutoX'ing.  It surprises a lot of people.

I'm still on the fence about getting the car tuned as it wouldn't help with the type or racing i do.  I am look to getting some custom springs.  This coming year it will be nice to get the SHO on a full Road Course to see how well it does.

Welcome!  Someone here was asking about Autocrossing their SHO... I was thinking of you when I mentioned that there was someone out there already successfully doing it.

Hi RacerX78, Are you the racerX from TCCA? If so I am a member there to. Me and You had the same 1st SHO. I so auto-X  my SHO to. This year was all MOD's and Dragracing. Next year is auto-X In STREET PREPARED class.

I don't believe so i went to the dragon a few years ago before i got the SHO.  I went with a large group of Civic Si's, and Subies.  It would be interesting to see how the SHO would do in the mountain.

I came in second this year in my class(RTA), not bad but i still can't fend off STi's, WRX or EVO's but atleast i go down fighting.

Thats cool, the video looks like you had fun.  I am planning on taking the SHO to a couple HPDE at Mid-Ohio this year.  I'm getting new tires for racing this year.  I'm not sure if i will mod this year or not.  I'm still on the fence with LMS tune, and if i can find some custom springs.  I depends on what class i will get kicked to in AutoX

That was my 1st time and it was lots of FUN!!! I race twice a year the 1st two years I had the car in the NOVICE CLASS (THEY DON'T CARE WHAT MOD's YOU HAVE).With this years MOD's.  I add new race tire of 275x40x20 which is one thing that will put me in the SP Class for NEXT year.

Hey Racer, I took the SHO to the Dragon this past April it was freakin awesome, we did it four times, using the sport shift mode was the best. I highly recommend it to anyone, I cant wait to go back, maybe we need to get a SHO gathering up there.

Ya I went with 275x40x20 because they were 1.2" wider than stock (more traction drag racing) but do not change you speed mph reading.

What is the offset on those tires/wheels.. do you have them on factory wheels?  No Rubs?  TIA
