You need to use a curved shovel. It has more contact points. Well hope you get. Them to fix it correctly
X2-AGREED,good point TOM.BiGMaC said:Rich... Since the shop was approved by your insurance there is almost certainly a clause requiring your approval of the work before the case is closed. If your wife didn't sign it that would seem the big point to make with your ins co. and the shop to get it done right.
Yes. As I'm seeing it, the trunk is in on the bottom and flush at the top....TSS said:Am I seeing that right? The fender portion of the light is jutted out beyond the trunk portion of the light?
Not one bit better do I feel knowing this. Appreciate the rationalization, but with these lines & gaps still off, and other gaps affected by the accident....I think there is more at play.ajpturbo said:If it makes you feel any better mine kinda looked like that from the factory. I didn't notice until a few months after I had the car. Not sure if there is anything I can do about it now...I just chalked it up to being a Ford.
Get it in there....with the look of the mounts back there, should be easy adjustment. I feel I need a new trunk lid, why else would they have not adjusted it right? Laziness...cheapness?FoMoCoSHO said:Mine looks the same, and it really annoys the **** out of me.
I plan to take it up with the body shop at some point in time.
Thanks buddy.SHOdded said:May finally be on track, Rich, good luck!

Thanks man. Lost my last SHO (94) to incompetent repair shop after deer run in. Don't want this to be some sick repeat of that horror story.ZSHO said:I would personally call the claims department a.s.a.p and complain that the proper work was not performed as expected, and wont take back the vehicle until the proper work is performed to your satisfaction, good luck buddy and keep us updated on the matter.Z.
Yeah, I was informed today by new guy, that all work that was done is warranted for life. If I don't like any of it they will do it again. Told them the stuff they did looked ok, but they didn't address all of the issues. And how I didn't trust the shop to actually look for full damage in an effort to cut costs. Hoping they clear me to have it looked at elsewhere.BiGMaC said:Rich...
