not running what it should

hey guys im looking for some ideas on what is slowing me down. took my car to track for the first time yesterday expecting to run low 12's and left with a best time of 13.2 at 103. my 60' was a  2.0 all night. i will admit that i showed up to the track with 1/2 a tank of gas and didn't air down my tires but id be hard pressed to believe that those factors cost me an entire second in the 1/4. i left at 2000 rpms and shallow staged every time. my mods are as follows. intake, 3bar, plugs, stage 3 water meth, torrie tuning it as aggressive as he feels comfortable with. i did play around with the traction control a bit, my best time ended up being in the "sport mode" but all my times were pretty consistent.

i did cream some mustangs though!  :smilie1:

That does seem pretty slow!  Video of any of your times down the track (which one)?  DA?  What tires?  Was the track well-prepared/did you feel it slowed your launch?  Any datalogs to share?

On the bright side, you still surprised a lot of "fast" cars!!!

looks like the da was 2632 at around the time i was running, my brother did take a video of one of my runs, track seemed well prepared, i did take a datalog that ill be sending to Torrie for review

I'd want to know actual boost during the pull...3 bar doesn't really tell me much..that's why I dont list it in my sig....I'm assuming it's not missing since torrie reviewed the logs.

Not joking here but sometimes cars are just slow

ill review the datalog tonight. i don't list it in my sig either.. not my first time at the track, just the first time i brought this car..

He logged off...he should've posted the log if he really wants to get to the bottom of it...the logs don't lie and are much better than posting mods and times...use the community

It seems like you didn't lose any traction, therefore, there is no need to lower the tire pressure. I would imagine it would just slow you down towards the end of the track.

Yeah but his trap would still be higher even if he spun...he should be able to get some 1.8x. But even if he did then that would've knocked off another .3-.4 he still would be slow

I'll send a log to Torrie tonight and see what he says. I've been fighting some issues with the w/m but it seemed to be working fine I guess the log will tell. I might change out the plugs and see if that helps

I figured since your car is a 2011,could be a possibility you have an 02 sensor (epidemic)definetly agree the logs are crucial in order to get an inside perspective on the matter. Z

so now i cant open my live link program. it just says im missing a root element. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but that didn't change anything, anybody ever have this problem??

Uninstall then disable your antivirus and download the program again then install...start live link then turn on antivirus...might work...I've never had your problem
