Opening front windows via key fob.

I'm sure probably most of you know this already but since I'm new to my SHO I'm still learning. If you click the unlock button once and click and hold the second time the driver and passanger windows go down and the sunroof tilts up.

I got pretty excited about that, it will be nice in the summer time!

My 13 Sport and my 13 SHO won't do this at all.

Thinking they changed this in 13.

My 2013 SHO does it but you first need to put the option at ON with the left arrows on the steering wheel.

I discovered it by accident on my car...I would check the owner's manual, I am surprised that it isn't included in the Explorers and F-150's...

No there isn't. That's the dumb part!

On the MKS (at least 2010 to 2012 ) the fob not only opens the windows and sunroof as stated above, but it does in fact CLOSE all the windows and sunroof by holding down the lock button.  Same manner that you lower the windows with, but with the unlock button.  So...the technology is buried for you SHO guys somewhere in there.  The cars use the same fob - just that the Lincoln has a Lincoln logo on it. But, it's the same fob.

cool thanks for the info I tried to mess with it but couldn't figure that out. My previous G35 did the fronts and the rears if you wanted by holding the button down longer they would roll down second, but no sunroof. Never thought about trying to roll them back up that way though.

Ya my 13 XSport won't open the windows with the fob. I need to figure out how to double the run time with the remote start..

Yeah my 13' explorer doesn't do it either. After I figured it out on the SHO I kept trying on the explorer but I guess it doesn't have that option.

This is neat. This is something I used on my previous car quite a bit during summer. Very happy to have the option back!
