Paint Protection

Anyone use any paint protection film on their vehicles? I saw this product XPEL that looks pretty good. It's a virtually invisible urethane film that protects the paint  from damage. It has a self healing property and a 10 year warranty against things like yellowing or peeling. You can get the leading 16" or 18" of the hood and fenders plus the front bumper cover and painted parts of the side mirrors. Or if you choose the whole hood and fenders..

Xpel Ultimate is probably the best on the market. self healing, durability, clarity. I have worked on a few peoples cars with it and it looks fantastic. I would do the entire hood and fenders just because I would not want to see the line across the hood were the protection stops.

Well I got the Xpel ultimate self healing film done on the hood,bumper and painted part of the side mirrors of my 16. 10 year warranty against yellowing, staining,cracking,blistering and delaminating. I had a couple stone chips and wished I would have done this earlier since I've had the car since January.

Looks good, I'm thinking about getting that done on my 2011, going to do some minor touch-ups first.

The stuff is amazing. I was a little reluctant going into this because of the uncertainty but you can't tell it's there and I HATE paint chips.. I highly recommend it.

How exactly does this stuff work? How is it applied/ do you have to have a professional apply it, and if so how much does this normally cost? I want to do this to mine!

Just go to Xpel's website. I wouldn't attempt to put it on as I might screw it up..lol. Depending on your installer and what kit you get the price can be probably 300 and up way up..
