Possible bad hub?

It's not the grey valves is immediately to the left of them.
A grayish looking rubber hose.

Hmmmm.... Never noticed it before on the 11 I had. Don't recall every hearing it before on this car either. I was curious about it though as it seems constant and haven't noticed any changes in drive ability nor performance. Just one of those things that you hear or see and you start wondering whether it's supposed to do that or not. But it would make sense seeing as it's originating from that particular area where those valves are at. What do they regulate?

Now you've got me curious. Lol. I've seen that tape before. It's what they use at the factory to keep a "clip" in place. I'll take a picture for you so we can all see where it's going.

Well obviously ..... Is it leaking?.....

Nope. Checked that hose when I first heard the noise and didn't see anything, feel anything, no degradation in stopping power. I appreciate your thought though as it was my first thought when looking around. Still curious as to what those gray valves do as AJP mentioned them and it is right around that area. Just haven't taken my stethoscope to them to see if it is them or not.

Just going off my experience with my other cars and builds that anything hissing is usually a leak.

Are you running Torque at all? You can easily check vacuum pressure

Nope. It's something that I plan on adding later on. Still haven't made up my mind as far as plans for her yet. Kinda curious as to why you don't have that hose though and what the differences are.
