Dave, I was just looking at the Dragtimes site.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe, excluding 2 Pro Taurus', that you are now driving  the #5 Taurus and the fastest non-meth SHO listed there.  A celebrity in our midst!

LOL Tom.  Thanks.  I wouldn't exactly call it celebrity status.  But yeah, as far as I can tell, I'm number 5 overall (6th if you count BPD who isn't there) and number 1 without meth.  How long that lasts will be determined.  I was just happy to get my 12 slip after all the frustrating "almost there" runs last Fall! 

EDIT-I just added a note to my mods so my slip isn't up right now pending approval.

wow dave that almost 1/2 sec faster, got to work on that .313 RT. the men & women of nhra are truely amazing when you watch their consistant RT's. but anyway i'll bet you were fired up after that.

YES!! Dave is 5th fast, moving me to 6th but I am still the FASTEST TUNE ONLY!!!!! 12.669sec No Down-pipes, No Eibach spring, No 3bar tune. But CONGRAT DAVE(my friend) for 5th and the fastest no meth SHO. :mike1:

Here is my stock tune:

I probably could have gotten into the 13.70's if I tried, but getting into the 13's was so easy I was itching to load my 4+ tune. Which probably ended up hurting me cause I didn't let the car relearn the idle and fuel trim. So I'm sure I can do better on the 4+ tune. Here's that slip:

13.21 is faster than I ever got in my mustang. And I won a bet with my brother, he didn't thin I could do 13.50.

You are right DJ and 1st SHO and Darreli have have the big turbo and Crash, bpd, and steve  have run 12.2 with METH WITH COLD WEATHER!!!

I think it's a PP with Airraid, Corsa and Tune.  Not sure though.

Fix your CAPS lock, it's annoying.

I have airaid, corsa, HR, TSW wheels, and LMS tune on all my runs.

I'll have new slips in couple weeks with DPs and the new V8 tune.

Best time in above mods is 12.5 at DA -627 and 41F.
