I went to the track only for the second time of the season this spring/summer. It was Car Fever Event at Napierville Dragway. It was a beautiful day, temps around 75F, sunny and a slight Wind in the face. Dragtimes calculated density to be of 1254... I have driven the car in much better DA than that, so I was not expecting any records, especially that I am still waiting for a more aggressive tune from LMS.
But, to my surprise, I ran 12.18 and 12.20! I know that if the track would be as well prepped as it was yesterday (60' of 1.72-1.73), in October that would probably translate in sub 12's. I am not giving up!
I might pay LMS a visit in September and have it dyno tuned again with a bit more tweak in the tune to reach my goal (on stock turbos).
Way to go Steve the "MASTER JEDI OF SPEED" is the fastest Meth w/stock turbos. HAHAHAHA!!!!!!WOOPWOOPWOOP!!!!!!!!!!!

It was really nice to meet you last night and yes I did SHO all the other cars in street class that the SHO in the way to go!!!! The DA was terrible last night, I did mange to run a 13.12 in one elimination round, I broke out but the person I was racing red lit so I had the win before I even left the tree. He had 14.57 dial in to my 13.23. These cars are very consistent at the track.

For first trip ever those are some solid numbers all around. Not a horrible r/t like my first was, .9 I think...decent 60' and great 1/4.

Every tune has a different parameter when it comes down to using drive or sport,I achieved the best results with current tune if put in sport and launching between 2200-2400 rpm.

  Second and final run today

R/T. 0.295
60'  1.907
1/8. 8.257
1/4. 12.828

Better reaction time however no improvement on time. Very happy with the experience just wish it was with you guys earlier this week at Milan. Still had fun talking to so many wonderful car enthusiasts. Surprised a few folks. I hung out with a guy with a 07 Z06 and he couldn't believe my times. Also hung out with a guy with a 12 Cobra also shocked. The best part was I was next to an older gentlemen in a stock 13 Chrysler 300 and he was having the time of his life. I ended up racing him in my second run.  Last story. On my first run I was extremely nervous as you could imaging.  I completely missed the staging area and was motioned to back up. Rookie mistake for sure. At least I drove around the water!  Can't wait to do it again soon.

I have the PP package and here is what I did:

Put car in Advance Sport Mode with TC off
Left with 2,000 rpm
Only had 1/8 of a tank
Did not play with tire pressure so 35psi. Wish I had more oases to change to 30 and 26 psi.
Removed as much stuff from the car as possible. Engine cover, tire inflator in the trunk, floor mats, and didn't eat prior. It's true but just joking on that one.

Well I had another fantastic day at the track.  I met irondoor19 at National Trails Speedway.  Our cars looked like twins.  In reference to the time slips I am car J113 and he is 709.  We had a great time!  Having someone at the track that has the same car and passion was the icing on the cake for me.  I attached the time slips.  Here is my best time:

Fourth and last pass of the day
R/T  0.384
60'    1.817
1/8    8.107 @ 86.22
1/4    12.632 @ 111.98

Irondoor best time:

Third pass out of four
R/T    0.640
60'    1.826
1/8    8.108 @ 85.48
1/4    12.687 @ 107.68

I don't know if it was the fact that our cars were always next to each other but we had quite a following of random people come up to us after our runs wanting to know what the heck we did to our cars to go so fast.  A lot of inquisitive people expressing their interest and appreciation in our SHO's. It was very satisfying to say the least.  My car is tuned by Livernois and irondoor is Pickup Plus Cars.  We both had fantastic times, IMO and I could not be happier.  A special thanks goes out to irondoor for meeting at the track, loaning me a helmet and allowing me to hang out with him.  Certainly a celebratory beverage will be in our near future.
