Was just wondering what everyones preferred gas station was? I always stop where ever is convenient, not sure that would be the best to do or not. And i usually spend $60 on 93 premium to fill it up
I love QT! But kum & go is better since they have e85. Do you go to any that have e85? I don't think all of them do and it's hard to find a map with current t e85 stores.
Ya not all kum & go have e85 maybe half or quarter. The coop farm stores have it and I have found a couple conoco stations that have it. Also western convince stores in Colorado tend to have it.
I really do like QT. In fact, it is my preferred filling station, not because of the fuel, but because of the filling stations themselves. Clean, maintained well-kept, high throughput.
It always hurts feelings, but I'll say it again anyway - branded gas is branded gas. Often times, gas blend/base stocks share the same origin.
Due to gas prices being so high it has affect the sale of the top tier fuels in many areas. This has lead to some places carrying 'old' gas as no one is buying it. Some places have people reporting that the 91 from one place is 'better' (car running better) than the 93 from another.
Be sure that the place you are getting your top tier gas from is still getting good sales on it and thus getting a fresh supply regularly vs once every several months. Higher Octane rated fuels do resist this loss better though. Ethanols are worse and lose potency faster.
There have been a few threads about this on other sites like Nasioc.
