preferred gas station ? or non preferred ?

I do Sam's Club gas because there 87oct is .03-.07cent cheaper than QT and the 97oct is only $0.20-0.31 more than there base price. Making my 97oct sometimeccheaper than QT 91oct. Very go deal.

Their new credit card features 5% rebate on sams fuel also.

Since most stations around me are over $4.20 a gallon for 93, I fill up at Food 4 Less gas station and it's $4.06 per gallon for 93.

I've been using Sunoco 93 for over 3 years and I'm not aware of any issues. The fact that no one else has named Sunoco as a favorite, makes me wonder if I'm missing something.

If I couldn't find a BP (all over the place here), it would be Sunoco or Mobile.

I use the WaWa beside my house. I know I don't have to worry about old fuel, that place is always busy because its close to a marina.

Petro Canada 94 is the only real option for + 91 fuel around here. Although Esso has started selling 93 in select stations, I haven't tried it yet.

Btw it costs $1.50 a litre up here.

If I'm looking for max performance a busy Shell station is where I'll go.  I go through 2 tanks a week though, mostly cruising on the freeway (long commute), so I go wherever the 93 octane is cheapest close to me. Usually I end up at Sams club or H-E-B (Texas grocery chain).  Both of those stations are a good 10 to 15 cents cheaper than other gas stations.  Both also sell a ton of gas, so odds are the 93 is fresher than some of the other places close to me.  I've had good luck with Costco 93 octane as well, but they don't take my rewards credit cards, and I don't get those sweet sweet points.

What's the deal with mixing E85 in? HEB close to me has E85 under 3 bucks a gallon.  I'm just glad I can get 93 in my area, back in Phoenix 91 was the best we could get and during the summer I had to mix in some 100 octane or some Torco into each tank, or turn the boost down.

Haha! Dang. My service pickup was stolen from a hotel parking lot a number of years ago in Schertz. Was doing some extended work in SA. Lost a lot of tools. That areas has never been the same for me again. XD

Anyway, carry on.
