Ran my OEM F1s into the ground....

Looks like I was on borrowed time before I had a blowout.  I put my winter wheels on last night and didn't realize my front tires were this shot.  Oops!

Think I need an alignment or is it normal to have negative camber?

W...T....F.  That's crazy. Looks over inflated and alignment was off.
How did you not notice that? Road noise must have been crazy loud

I knew it was somewhat bad... saw the metal belts barely sticking out a month back.  But weather was so good until today, I left them on trying to get as much out of them.  I do run the car pretty hard on my commute to work, a lot of twisty mountain roads.  The roads out here are bad on tires with all of the curves.

The metal belt on both tires is on the inside (front).

I'll try to find a good alignment shop and see what they can do.

Feels like a Lexus with my 18" Pirelli Ice/Snow on :D

LOL that is insane! On some of my past cars the tires looked 10 times better and I could hardly stand the noise and wheel pull, I can't believe it had that little of an effect on the feel of the car! How many miles were on those things?!

They had around 21K miles on them.  I never rotated, since I swap out winter setup every 6 months.

I'll buy new summer tires in May once the snow is done.

I always keep track of mileage on my summer versus winter set.  I rotate at the time of swap if I am coming up on the rotation mileage for them.

I just bought a full set of winters as well. Bought em as soon as i saw metal. N my old tires had metal showing on the insides in front as well.  My tire shop did 50% off alignment with 4 tires. They said both sides were way off. Yours probably are as well.
