Random Knock WTF?

Happened twice in last few days, both after a turn with light acceleration. I heard what sounded like a loud engine knock. Let of gas gone, little gas again comes back. only lasted a second or two each time but it freaked me out. Sounded like it was on Passenger side near firewall. Kinda sounds like that rattle/knock at startup or bad spark knock but really loud. I got on it today and nothing. No engine light yet... Don't think it would be mechanical/major or it wouldn't have gone away?? I put plugs in about 1 1/2 months ago. Bad plug/injector maybe. Gonna go back to stock just in case I have unexpected dealer trip.... Not cool

Have heard of a harsh bump when turning under light acceleration at low speed (needs trans fix TSB), but not this particular one.  If suspecting bad plug/injector, pulling the plugs is the first thing I'd do.  Are you monitoring any parameters while driving?

Is it possible the catch can installation came loose or maybe a stone got lodged in there temporarily?  Is your drain pipe on the firewall side?

I would look for a vacuum/boost leak at one of your connections from the catch can, that is what it sounds like to me. How long have you had the can on the car? Something may have come loose.
