Glad you are ok, Z, one heck of a moment to have lived through.  This is what the benefit of years of experience + quick reflexes boils down to.
 
Well done Z!  That's one of those split seconds not paying attention that results in disaster.  Excellent defense!  Good thing no car in the other lane as well!

Thanks Manu! I must have more than nine lives. Based on the rear view mirror the woman looked quite disgruntled. I try to think Positive and move ahead especially under these type of circumstances. Z

Nice save Z, it's times like that that let you know you've still got it no matter what your age ( ;      Our VIN numbers are so close, I think my car probably felt it. I'm up to 75k miles without a hiccup, let's see how long we can keep things intact.

That's so funny cause just hit 75K myself. The SHO is a keeper for sure and hopefully can pass it on to the next-generation. Thanks Brother. Z  :)

Well,  here's a mind blower.  I find myself sitting in the delivery room waiting room watching the last NASCAR race of the year.  My oldest daughter went into labor about 2hrs ago.  The only question is do I become a grandpa or does the race end first!

Almost 18 hrs later, I got to meet my 1st grandson. First life lesson ' s going to have to be something on the lines of being on time but everyone is well (less a lot of sleep). Thanks guys for giving me lots to read to help pass the time.
