Random thoughts for the day

My dome maker guy and I are thinking of maybe popping the emblem off and making a dome that will work now.  I'll have to take a look at that.

The same kind that took my front spoiler, lower front body molding, and the plastic under piece right in front of the spoiler!

Bought my car in december and now have 14-15k miles.

NICE.

I'm about to make a trip to Austin; like 4k round trip. I'm excited--going to take the black beast to the fams and show off some real power. BHaha

Be prepared for a power loss when you hit that 90 - 91 octane. Texas has weird octane.

Yeah, I'm not looking forward to that.

I am thinking about switching to 91 turn when I leave just in case I run into stations on the trip that doesn't carry 93.

Recently did a Ohio to AZ trip - You are fine until after Missouri. Oklahoma is where the madness begins.

Thanks for the heads up!

I'll keep that in mind.

How was your MPG? I ran numbers and I'm expecting about a $600 round trip fuel bill based on average prices and moderate MPG. I don't expect much over 20mpg during the trip.

No tune mind you - 26 MPG until Missouri... 24 in Missouri (too damn hilly)
22.5 overall from Ohio to Southern AZ, Missouri and New Mexico destroyed the mpg.

filled up my car last night... I wont be able to walk straight for a week. 107.06$ to fill it up with 94octane.

I filled up at 1.539$/L at Petro-Canada 6 days ago. Yep, it hurts... (5.83 $/gal)

Sorry, pictures, or it didn't happen. ;)

I didn't have my phone on me; I was lugging car parts into the apartment.

She was pretty hot, but clearly a tramp! It was odd seeing her here because most of the folks that live here are not that kind.
