FoMoCoSHO good luck on the DP install, after having it done twice on my car found it beneficial to use some PB blaster liberally before removing those bolts, and two sets of gaskets to ensure a leak free system, hope this helps and good luck to you.Z    http://www.tascaparts.com/auto-parts/2013/ford/taurus/sho-trim/3-5l-v6-gas-engine/exhaust-system-cat/exhaust-components-scat
I refuse to wrench on my cars anymore. I just want to drive it and enjoy it. Hence why God made dealership techs....
Spot On!!!

Got my first speeding ticket in the last 5 years.  Helluva a run considering how I drive, hopefully I can go another 5! lol

Was nailed going 12 over.  I had my radar detector muted and I wasn't paying attention.  Took off hard at a stop light and came around a corner and there the trooper was.

Seeing if an attorney can reduce the ticket to a non moving violation.  Right now it's 4 points but gets reduced to 2 points if I pay the $170 fine within 20 days.

If this is the worst thing that happens today, then I'm doing alright I suppose!

Select the show up in court option. May be able to sweet talk the judge?

So far my dealership has done well by me... BUT even if they smudge it up I have standing instructions... no courtesy wash and no wiping on the finish. My service advisor always writes it in red on the work order and on the car work ID tag. It's why I put Quart Finest on the car...

I'll admit it's ME that is the problem as I expect people to take care of the car as if it was their own but that's just unreasonable on my part...I'm anal and I'm ok with admitting that...And most people love the courtesy wash but like you I'll wash it myself by hand.

I'm OC about it too... to the point where I no longer touch the car when I wash and dry it... As soon as my spot free rinse water deionizer arrives I'll REALLY be the neighborhood attraction when i was it, LOL

A lot of the times if you go to court the officer that issued the fine will not be there so if you contest the charge the judge will dismiss the charge because the officer is not there.

Or they will move it to another day when he is there lol. I got out of one this way.

My situation is "unique".

High Command sees to it that my car is treated properly.

Only certain techs are given access to my car.

Congrats to Torrie...looks to be one of the first to crack the code.

Jeez almost as much to the wheels as stock crank!  Looks like the HCs have good tuning potential.  Just don't want to see them decimated so early in life.

I can't wait to see where people take these things. We'll see where the weak links are soon.

I wouldn't want to be the guy to find all those weak links. Hah. Drive shaft breaking at 190 is a no fun zone.

For sure. Seeing a couple rip the drive shaft out already, makes you wonder. Just read another post from Torrie that they really need a pulley. Right now it's maxing out at 10 psi.

That's pretty low. I wonder how the internals will hold up with more boost.

So....White Platinum Metallic Tri Coat.

Everything I have now plus Performance Package, Multi Contour seats, and 7/100 Premium care which I was getting ready to stroke a check for on the current one.

Cheaper payment.

I was planning on keeping the current one, but High Command heard about the extra incentives and knows how I crave an Alcantara steering wheel and multi contour seats. She has also heard my grumbling about the extra HD parts PP offers. Seeing as I don't like to make her unhappy.....

I really didn't think I could get a better deal than my current one, but a fat rebate, D-plan, and 2 extra incentives stacked on a very low money factor lease exceeded my expectations.

If i pull the trigger, car will be delivered to me, then driven directly to Concours John for a Cquartz finest treatment.

Sure sounds difficult to say no to that proposition, although ...  Switching from Darkside to BrightLight?
Deep Impact Blue was my first choice, but there are none available with PP.

Tri White was my second choice, and I've always been a fan of white.
