In the F150 this motor makes 365hp and 420ft-lbs. With a tune you can push roughly 450hp and 530ft-lbs.

In the Transit it makes 310hp and 400ft-lbs. How different is this motor from the F150? Is it just running less boost?

And of course the most important quesiton, could you use the same sorta tuner for the F150 on a Ford Transit Ecoboost? Just imagine a 450hp 530ft-lbs Van....

I'm just asking out of curiosity. Not because I know someone who has one as their company vehicle and complains about having problems towing.

My F-250 gets new shocks, add-a-leaf, and 18x9 Pro Comp black wheels 295/70/18 Grapplers installed on Friday.  Also ordered fender flares.  Can't wait!  I'll post pics when she's all done.

How she currently sits:

My upgrade plans are now on hold. we found out my fiancée is pregnant this past weekend! so now we are moving the wedding date up and there goes all of my disposable income for awhile. wedding/diapers > car parts

x2 on the congrats!  Great, great news, though I am afraid the big bang for your buck will still be, like PM pointed out, a tune for the SHO ;)

Agree^^^
For the price of a CAI you can tune it...with lifetime service... by buying a used tuner.  At least from Unleashed or LME. That's what I did. Congrats on the coming addition. No one can afford kids (I have 4)... Just do a budget rearrangement.

Sad/Happy day.  Finally gave-up/parted with my 2010 Steel Blue Metallic SHO.  Most enjoyable vehicle I have owned-including several 60s era GTOs.  This one topped them all. But age creeps in-not that I am old- just more difficult for spouse and I to get into/out of low vehicle. Tough when knees are higher than but in sitting position.

So parked in my drive is a 2016 Explorer Sport with all the goodies-no police interceptor package.  Ingot Silver with 31 miles as she sits. (say that 3 times fast).
You didn't think I was going to give up the big ecoboost did you?

Now to figure out how to remove front license plate bracket.  Dealer advertising plate.  Had to sign paper that I would not charge them for advertising.  Rear is easy.  Front bracket not so much.

But it is nice.  Will be exploring.
