I've seen Chargers, Crown Vic's and Fairmont out there. I guess we'll see how she does.Ryan02Stang said:Our cars are too fat for the road course...LOL!
What a coincidence! That's my local track. Dude's got a good line.Rockstar04 said:Not my video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRpPKkPDuec
There is a road course near me and I would LOVE to take my XSport out for a track day.
Let me know if you have any questions. I am a track day instructor in the D.C. area with SCCA, and a licensed race driver. I work on my own car, and have a decent amount of knowledge of how to drive fast, and cure handling challenges.AnotherGreenFusion said:that is my long term plan, drag is just a really good and cheap way to get data logs and an idea of power output. There is a track about 3 hours from me that does all-day events for about $300 for the driver.
Were you in track mode?Half-Fast said:It was! I was actually surprised how well it felt. Sure it wasn't my race car, but for a boat with a big motor, it inspired confidence. I will say though, I could feel the "nannies" keeping me in check![]()
Given the conditions I decided to leave the nannies on. The event was also at a new venue, and I haven't had a lot of time on it. Were it dry, my intent was to drive it in all 3 modes (on, sport, and off), to see how it reacted at the limit for each. Seeing as it was raining, and there were substantial puddles forming, I opted for a more conservative approach (esp. after the Mustang took out the guard rail).FoMoCoSHO said:Were you in track mode?
