Is there any reason not to use this tuner if I already have a 7 inch tablet I'm using for touque pro already? Does livernois not use these anymore?

Would I be losing that much by choosing the itsx over the mycal? It just seems the itsx has much more functionality then the mycal device?

The biggest I can think of is mycal does not have datalogging.

The MyCal is not a user-configurable device, it is a purely tuning tool, not meant for displaying gauges & such.  Not sure what you are looking for out of the iTSX, but if you are not running a tune with it, it's not that useful compared to Torque Pro.  BUT it will be more accurate with the data it does display, if that's what you are after.

I'm looking to choose a tuner and tuning company by the end of the day, I need to go fast. Whichever one it is i want a nice aggressive 3 bar 93 tune the can be modified next month for the downpipes

You can choose to go with the SCT iTSX and a tune, no problem.  Or you can go with the Livernois MyCal & a tune, no problem there either.  Most people continue to use Torque Pro or Forscan Lite with their smart-device anyway for routine monitoring.

If you really want datalogging, you will have to go with SCT, as mentioned above.

Hopefully so. Can only do the tuner this week. Have to wait till next pay for the 3 bar, plugs and thermostat
