Shell nitro + gas

Just saw a commercial for this. Anyone try it. I guess it's been available in Europe for awhile.  It's euro rating is 99 Ron which should be around 94.5ish octane.

Great find, thank you for sharing! I've only been able to find 91 octane in town since I got my SHO. Just went to the Shell website and it's showing all the Shell stations in town are carrying this now.  Going to have to run over lunch break and confirm and fill up. Fingers crossed they have it so I can run the LMS 4x tune.

Aaaand they don't have it..only regular 91..#$%#!!!!

I actually inspected a fire system protecting a shell gas station today
The owner said it will replace the current 93. This was a smaller franchise station so I'm assuming it will be anywhere 93 is currently available.

I know this was brought up in the past but whatever happened to Sunnoco ultra 94,BTW also noticed that Speedway is taking over Hess, never use there gas though. Z

BP 94 disappeared from my neck of the woods some years ago....

Unfortunately its just been re-branded to unify the brand across the world. The pamphlets are the same as the old vpower ones.

I am using it while still trying to perfect my tune with torrie. I am on revision 6 or 7 so i guess he is pushing it hard lol. That reminds me i got to get another log out to him.

It's official... My SHO hates the new nitro+.
KR  immediately shot up to +7 on the highway and LOR went down to -0.5.
I'm going to have to add a little e85 to mix.

That be no good!  I'll have to try it out in the Edge, see how it responds.  Normally, I run 87 only :)

Any change in fuel trims?

I blended to 30 % when I filled up so I seriously doubt LOR moved. I will fire up Torque tomorrow and check.

That was a move up 5% and my trims went up as expected. Oddly enough, I went through about half a tank today and they did drop for a little while unexpectedly, after they had leveled from the blend change. After about a half hour driving they normalized so I don't know what that was about.

Another oddity is that I've never seen rail pressure higher that 2450 ish psi with dash command and today it hit over 2700. That is a high number with 30% corn in the tank.

I notice part of the formula is a new "friction modifier" so hopefully someone smarter can chime in how this might possibly affect injector and pump output......as someone else said today, "above my pay grade".

Did you notice a power drop during the KR event?  On the 2013 you could feel it pull timing and the 2 times I got a +7, the ECM completely put a stop to my cold weather blending shenanigans.
