While at MR this morning Danny had asked if I could think of any other suspension components we'd like improved. I mentioned something about the strut tower bar for aesthetics purposes. Any other ideas you guys can think of?

By the way, Danny was kind enough to drop me off at the airport this morning. Totally unexpected.

A way to get some camber in front would be nice.
Specs should be about the same as the older Flex Kit .

On applications utilizing strut-type suspension designs, the Megan Racing Damper Kits come with fully adjustable Pillow-Ball upper mount camber plates to easily tune and adjust your camber, giving you a competitive edge over other suspension setups. This allows you to tune your car for any ride height and still adjust camber to improve handling, vehicle predictability and tire wear, which is a great benefit both on the race-track and on the street.
You can't adjust camber on the current Flex kit, the adjustable upper mounts would be pretty cool.
Also would be nice if they could figure out an upper arm kit for the rear suspension to allow more outward adjustment of camber as well as I maxed it out and I still had some negative camber in the rear. For the go fast guys over rotating to positive camber is better than negative at launch.

You'll notice that it doesn't come with our kit

So the upper pillow mount would have to be changed to an adjustable  one for camber changes ?

New Territory for me , hope I'm making sense .

In the relatively few 8K miles I've driven my E Sport, I've pushed it  hard around fast freeway ramps and sweepers (love that 241 toll road, some smooth fast corners in OC 8) )  The front is fairly level in corners but the rear body roll in a fast corner is unsettling :hmmm:  Maybe a stiffer rear bar? I don't think the coil overs will address this much unless they really uprate the springs in the kit and I doubt many want that? I can take out my old Shelby Charger if ZI want a skateboard like ride experience...

Did you notice any body flex with the roll in the corner, AJ?

Yeah, in my Maserati convertible ;)  I doubt the body is flexing much and what I base that on is when I went to build some downpipes, I put the floor jack under the passenger side frame rail to raise that side. I was gonna put up one side at a time. Nope, it wont let you do that. BOTH sides went up when you jack up one side.  I have other cars that are this stiff, but they have 6 point or better cages in them.

Any updates on the Megan Coilovers for the 13' SHO?  I'm either going to do Eibach, H&R or coilovers.
They are being developed and  prototyped right now and wil be available for sale this summer .

The coil overs are currently being fabricated over seas, Danny has said they should be ready for install in about three weeks.

Also, Danny is very interested in making a cat-back exhaust system as well as downpipes. But wait, there's more- he has also started fabbing up beefier rear trailing arms.

Lots of cool stuff going on in regards with Megan Racing, should be interesting to see what else we can come up with.

I talked to Danny, cool stuff being made. I specifically asked for a rear upper adjustable control arm for caster. This would work with coilovers and for spring guys if they wanted to completely correct camber (or for racing overcorrect).
