SHO dying breed?

Read a few articles about Ford scrapping the SHO line for 2015. I don't understand why Ford didn't add better features to the 2014 line-to me this car has so much potential and I'm sure if these cars came already tuned from the factory the sales would have been much better. The 2014 model should have had better LED front lights lower rear end and a more powerful ecoboost engine. If Ford does scrap the sho line I wouldn't be worried in the least-I am keeping my car because I love to drive it and as this car remains a mystery that gives me reason to love it even more! I'm out!

in a way i would be happy.  the SHO is one of the best kept secrets in the "big sedan with beef" segment as i call it.

its one of few cars that can do it all.  haul people/luggage has luxo and comfort and when you spool it up it can and does hang with 99% of rolls on the street.

if i do anything it will be to get a 13/14 to replace my 11 when the time comes.

Seems to be falling behind a tad, with what the car is marketed to compete with.

But, for what alot of us paid for ours...that's a different story. It is a lot of car for the post-incentive cost, or C/PO cost.

It is very much a niche car, though. That doesn't help it's long term prospects.

And here I was just mentioning to my wife the other day that my next car will probably be another Sho, but the next body style, like a 15 or 16, assuming it looked good.

FPV's are fantastic cars!  I love them.

The fusion and SHO are kind of stepping on each others toes. They have the same amount of trunk space, rear leg room, but the fusion is lighter according to motor trend.

There no way the Fusion has as much trunk space as the SHO.The SHO trunk is huge! But that would be one of the last things I'd use to make a decision on a car.

It'd be cool if they don't make one for a few years, so that our cars are somewhat rare. On the other hand, I'd like to be able to replace mine with a newer example at some point. But I'd be happy to have this one for the next 5-10 years.

My thoughts exactly.
