SHO exhaust thoughts?

That's what I had... muffled x with dynomax axleback. Sounded good with zero rasp, even after I put catless downpipes on it.
That def changed with the bare x... in my quest for more sound I should've went to louder muffs and kept the resonated x

You could put the muffled x back on and swap the Dynomax mufflers on the axle back, that way the stock kit goes unmodified. You basically want any high-flowing/straight through designed muffler though I would definitely go with either a MagnaFlow or Borla for a nice grunt.

Yeah from my experience on multiple platforms the straight through design (maggie, borla, etc.) prevents the dreaded drone (as long as the muffler body is big enough) that you see with open chamber designs (flowmaster etc.).  They are also quieter down low and at idle.  But at WOT the straight throughs scream.

you're right on about my borla. relatively quiet idle, sounds real nice up to 3000 rpm around town. on the highway quiet as can be, but wot a deep rich sound. had to wait 6 weeks for borla to make them but was worth it. plus the way they imprint their name on the end of the pipe is classy.

Dynomax is built just like the Maggie... straight thru with a perforated core. Even body size is basically the same.

Im either going back to muffled x with a MagnaPak or Borla Stinger or just saying f it and ordering a Corsa or SW cb

We should get an official exhaust note thread put together. My x pipe with stock mufflers and catless downpipes will be on next week. I'll take a video and upload it.

Question:  when ordering the Dynomax separate part #s (53752 & 53753), do they come with the hanger?

Yes, the only thing you will need to purchase is two clamps (one for each side), to clamp the axleback onto the stock piping where the cut is made. The axleback comes with the mufflers, about 1.5' of pipe in front of the muffler, the ~4" tips, and the hangers on the mufflers to hang them from the stock hangers.
