I have a 14 page thread about everything that I have done to my car, and some technical info in the first couple of posts about buying a SHO used on shoforum. I think it would be smart to start my own thread about my build here.

https://shoforum.com/index.php?threads/sm105ks-ownership-performance-maintenance-thread.138235/

The thread above literally has everything I have done with the car and some stuff about me as well.

As the car sits as of 6/26:

2013 PP SHO with 71,5xx miles on her. New Trans at 69K miles.  Three year warranty from Jan 2019.

Exterior: Tint Limo with a Windshield banner, H&R Springs, Full Paint Correction, The Last Coat Paint Protection, Trunk De-Badged, Devires "Turbo Bull" Stickers Over Ford Emblems. All Chrome Trim is Paint Matched,  Curva Concepts C7's Gloss Black, Copper Metallic Devires "Turbo Bull" overlays, Black Quad Exhaust Tips.

Misc Mods: Forscan hacked the Navigation System (turned it on), Added the Intelligent AWD Gauge.

Best Track Outing: Track was good, 58 degrees, 1200 D.A, Ended up running a 12.56 @108.98 with a sixty foot of 1.777! I did have an issue with a boost reference hose that was creating a boost leak. Decent run either way.

My Extreme Duty Maintenance Schedule:

Oil: every 3k miles (Castrol Edge with either a Motorcraft or Mobil 1 filter)
Trans Fluid: every 3k miles 5 quarts out, 5 new quarts in. (Mercon LV)
Brake Fluid: every 10K miles. Changed at 69K

So yeah...here we go.

Last day on Flower's? C7's should be here today. I will inspect them, check fitment, clean them, and then throw two coats of "The Last Coat" and then take them to get the tires mounted.

Trim is being dropped off today for paint.

Can't wait to see it done!  I read some of your SHOForum posts.  Well written to include how to change the fuids.  I don't know there was such thing as an AWD gauge.

Yeah it should look good.  Yeah, SHOForum gets more hits and more thread action.  A lot of new SHO owners over there, so I put that whole welcome and what to look for with your new ride ect.

Tips came in yesterday.  Rims where supposed to be dropped yesterday but needed a signature, and I missed the delivery by 20 mins.  I was really annoyed, but whatever.  Have to leave work early to get them today.

Trim was dropped off at the painter, so yeah...  Things are moving along.

Moving along nicely!  I too also hate signature deliveries.  Not sure what type neighborhood you live but not too worried about mine.  The IC and Turbos left on my door step no signature...but my Billet Badge I needed to sign for.  Lol oh well!

I live in a good neighborhood, but it requires a signature.

That’s the biggest pain in the ass. You can signup online for ups to sign ahead. I forget how to do it. So this post is virtually useless. So I’ll end it with a hey buddy how you been?

They shipped it through GSO/GLS so.  I mean it took two days to get to my house yesterday so I am not even mad.  The past couple of days have been stupid busy with work, training, and trashing the SHO to get it ready for all the exterior mods.  I need to check the rims and protect them, then get the tires mounted ect....kinda thinking about doing the paint correction while it is still on the flowers...so yeah.  It needs a lot of work before I unveil her new gloriness.  Lol.

I hope you are able to getr done faster than my pace!  My car is near complete then minus a solid paint correction but Jesus I'm glad I've had plenty of work to afford my new parts but at the same time it sucks bc I have no time to do much else!  Dreaming of a normal 8 hour work day.

I try to stay calm if I miss a package for a signature but for crying out loud usually when I get around to ordering something I've been wanting it or looking at it for weeks, months maybe years... so when the day comes for a delivery...even if its not getting installed...I just want to open the package, see what I've wanted for so long in person...toucing it holding it caressing it even...all spoiled over a signature?  😵😖😡😠😠😠  😂🤣🤦

Paint correct will go this weekend.  I have everything that needs to be done, and it won't be a big correction.  I will prep it and wash it today because I am leaving work early. I will take out the brake lights out, and remove the spoiler as well.  I want it done correctly, because if I get all of the problem areas now, they wont be a problem going forward, and she is a garage queen now.

Since the front clip/bumper is sagging, the headlights won't have to come out.  This will give me a really good time to completely clean the transmission cooler as well. This time, I am going to zip tie the top corners of the clip when I reinstall it, because those push clips are terrible.  I only have a couple of panels that are bothering me, so I will work on those, and get them perfect.  Then I will apply two coats of "The Last Coat" to the car and she will be ready for when then trim is done.  After that, I will be a bit more happy with the exterior.

Definitely doing it right with the trim, lights and spoiler out of the way you'll gain access to those hard to each areas.  I've never heard of The Last Coat so I just checked it out.  Looks great!

I am having trouble uploading pics here so here is a link to the other forum with what I have done the past couple of days to the SHO.

Thanks dude. I just want a clean slate to restart with. I just got a point with the chrome that I hated looking at the car...

Also for some technical data.

Stock Rims and Tires: 60 lbs
Curva's with Tires: 54 lbs

I went with Curva Concepts C7's in 20 inch, 8.5 inch wide with a 38 mm offset. They sit pretty damn flush and I like them.

My tires are pretty much new Conti's 245's. The car cut a 1.77 on them at the track.

I don't drive the car much so, I just couldn't justify spending another $1200 for a new pair of 275's and the wider rim set up. The good thing is, I can fit a 255 on these rims easy, possibly even a 265. So either way I win.

I am going to install the upgraded trans mounts, DP's, and tips and head back to the dyno.

Hopefully she cracks 400 awhp. If she doesn't, I will give up on that endeavor until the upgraded HPFP and GH turbos go on.

I will then head to the track, and see whats happens. I have had some spin and shudder/wheel hop in the past. I will see that the new rims and mounts do.

If it still spins, I might just throw a pair of drag radials on a set of flowers for the fronts and see what happens. If works it better, I will buy another pair of Curva's and mount the drag radials on them. The car will pretty much live on drag radials for the street for the future. Then when I go on a road trip, just take the drag radials off and throw back on the Conti's

6 lbs lighter each corner and with the 20x8.5 instead of the 20x8 you should get better traction so it will be nice to see how much improvement can come from lighter, wider wheels/tires and downpipes.  The Quad Tips will certainly enhance your tone as well as appearance.  Also interesting will be your 60ft time with the above improvements coupled with the upgraded torque mounts.

I agree, it certainly will be interesting.  I know what the car cuts 0 to 60 on my Livewire on street tires.  4.43 with a little spin, on 40 psi on the street.  When I get the trim back on, I will take her out as she sits and do another 0 to 60 with the new wheels and tires at 40 psi.  Then I will go directly home, and the next day air the fronts down to 26 psi, and do the same 0 to 60.  I am not worried about the rear spinning at all.  We can see what just air pressure does.  I won't drive it around because I will want to keep the fuel level as close as possible.

Then when all the go faster parts come in, I will install them, have Brad update the tune and repeat the process above.  0 to 60 at 40 psi, next day 0 to 60 at 26 psi at the same fuel level as the first trials.

I will also conduct these all the Phoenix Summer heat so the tests will be as close to possible with tire pressures, temps, and fuel level.
