So,... Challenger Hellcat...

The guy that did the burnout down the track was just an idiot and put all Hellcats under a bad light for people who don't understand that with that much power on street tires you need a good driver.
The scary part is multiple people have broken driveshafts already on drag radials, that really sucks but that just means your first mod owning a Hellcat is a driveshaft since you can't tune them yet. :)

Maybe a bit off topic... but I remember in the 90's me (and others) breaking the driveline in the early  Ford PowerStroke diesels... engineering just had to catch up to the TQ produced.
 
There is no excuse for this today. Everything is tested in engineering programs for weak points and breaking force. Someone did not do their job right.
 
i think as i remember the ones having the driveshaft issues were not the a8 but the m6's. everybody was worried about the a8 taking all that hp, of course still very,very early in the game.

4dr thanks for setting me straight i thought it was the manual not the a8. the interesting point then is the a8 took all the torque & passed it to the weaker link. anyway this posting by the hellcat wonaby, i found amusing to a point. let's not forget dodge did something ford has repeatedly refused to do & that was hand the performance minded driver a performance car with a warranty. ford continues to say there's a lot more hp laying on the table but do it at your own risk. like chris who works for ford said in a post if you play expect to pay. the problem is that most of people getting 1st group of hellcats have more money than sense.

Driver and track conditions have the times all over the place for these cars.... I see high tens for both, all the way to low 12's for both in stock setups
